What's new

TTP fighters infiltrate into Chitral and attempt to seize villages/posts 6/9/23

It sure looks that way, Pakistan army doesn't want another enemy at their border, they think of TTP as a militia and you cannot defeat a militia until you destroy its ideology. Pakistan needs to back a counter ideology to the TTP but no such policy was created.

TTP claims Pakistan army is Usa agent, they want to implement Sharia in KPK, they claim to care about their Pashtun brothers whilst Pakistan government doesn't, it allows Usa to bomb them, TTP has huge support in N and W Waziristan which is part of Pakistan. Are TTP claims genuine or false?

That would be a disaster, TTP and anti Pakistan militias will use this excuse to spread more hatred. Pakistan policy makers still believe they have enough influence in Afghan Taliban, Haqqani network to control this, yes attacks will continue, Pakistan can't do much about it. The blame goes on to whoever created these militias and this ideology.

The ideology is pashtunism

The only counter ideology is Pakistani nationalism or Islam

And the tribals are a ethnocentric jahil community, backwardness people who turn to violence very quickly

At the moment, our strategic planners who understood that once the Afghan Republic fell their would be FALLOUT

I keep repeating this NONE of what is happening is a surprise
Only to moron's, afghans, bent out of shape Pakistani is it a surprise

We would have been expecting this fallout

Remember, the afghans are at the end of the day, the same lannat people whether they are Taliban, or Afghan Republic

But rather then escalate, Pakistan believes.it has enough control and punishment via border control and state support to keep the afghans on a leash whilst counter security operations are under taken

So a a hard approach of destroying villages etc will just create more issues in a afghan population who carry the victim card as second nature

A d fundamentally our planners are right,, it is never easy being on the receiving end of terrorism, BUT we at the moment can punish the afghans though multiple means because they have very little alternatives

So whilst I don't advocate a hard approach, even though it is warranted

We need to punish the afghan refugee population, and unless it benefits Pakistan start getting them thrown back into Afghanistan or elsewhere

Crack down on house or car ownership
Employment
Etc all of which is illegal for non Pakistani

Keep borders closed whenever afghans act too stupid and keep going back to afghani government with these attacks when they complain

This is because they want to unite their land with the pashtuns of Pakistan. Not everyone is like Pakistan, they know their cause and mission very well. Even the IEA government mentioned the durand line is not a border but a line as mentioned in the wording Durand LINE, this is why the afghan were always moving across the border freely. If Pakistan seals the border the problem will become worse, the pashtuns have families across both sides. When the same Afghans turned religious, it didn't mean they will give up their land which they claim is there's. Pakistan problem is they continue to flirt with the same ideology, play around with them, try to divide them and keep them in check and its not working.

This is the result of Pakistan not having a consistent foreign policy. There’s way too many u-turns in the past 70 years when it came to crucial issues like Afghanistan and IOK.

Other countries like India, Afghanistan, and Iran have a consistent foreign policy. India, regardless of who was in power, always supported BLA. Iran will always support Hezbollah and militias in Iraq. Afghanistan will always, despite who is in power, will raise the Durand Line issue.

Pakistan policy is similar to our political situation, one min leader is a saviour and then he's a traitor, when leaders/generals are in power they are praised but once they leave then cases are registered against them, billions were spent on madarassas to promote a certain sect and then we are told to not be sectarian etc. We dont really have a national policy that unites us, make us stick together and fight outsiders, majority of the population dont know about Allama Iqbal and his dream, why he wanted Pakistan, they reasons and ideology behind it. Our leaders should be following that vision but instead are busy in corruption.

Fact. Especially the part in bold.

I hope that our military/intelligence planners acknowledge this truth.

All Afghans regardless of their ideological, political or religious leaning dream of some Loy Afghanistan.

@Jango

Regarding why Helicopters were there, I assume that it was being used as a staging area of some sorts, the football ground is in Drosh which is where Chitral Scouts HQ is located I think (Although it seems Chitral city seems to be?). The reason why they wouldn't be landing near the posts/hot zones is likely due to the lack of a safe landing zone due to the terrain and also because of the threat of enemy fire which ranges from small arms to possibly even AA (Dshka). It's also pertinent to note that Tehsil headquarters Hospital is there so it seems to be a good nearby place to ferry wounded to if need be. This is just speculation on my part.

Where is Pak Bouj? Farming? Building Villas? Making porno of political workers?
Army is diligently performing its sacred duty, guarding sacred borders, no one can enter Pakistan without our express permission.

So the TTP managed to cross the border in huge numbers into Pakistani territory and we did nothing proactively and our intel was sleeping?

Tum bas BC agriculture, investment, exchange rate, secrets act, taxation, energy inefficiency, dunya kay har lallu panju kaam par dehan dena magr apnay kaam par nhn. Kia zaleel kuttay hain yeh log waisay.

Also note, Chitral is not a traditionally Muslim area either. And this is the first time it will be seeing a conflict like this. I talked to a friend from Chitral, although he isn't there himself, but he says family and whole villages are now holed up inside and they are expecting Taliban to enter their homes any moment. Tense situation.

Hope this gets resolved soon.
Why don't we apply army act and secret act on invading taliban?

TTA/TTP are relying on an age old tactic of attacking from multiple sectors as to confuse the pakistans army and divert its attention from one theatre to another.

This is the result of inaction we have been seeing for many many years now. The solution has always been straightforward. If you yourself dont take pre emptive action with element of surprise then your enemy will.

Were are the armys drones? Where are the j10s or jf17? Hell where are the new mi35s or z10 attack helis? Our ssg is being sent while such small specialist forces are taking on the brunt of the action.
Dont get me wrong our fouj will repel these barbarian terrorist jahils and send them to hell. But at what cost and reputational damage??? Your focusing on keyboard warriors and arresting/tracking political activist while the security situation has gone to hell

TTA is actively providing cover ammunition modern weapons and fighters to the TTP. Yet we are afraid to call a spade a spade and attack kandahar and kabul where these vermins reside and plan against .

- They plan and Allah plans but Allah is the best if planners 🇵🇰
