IMO, it's not gonna happen. Iranians has little trust on America, no trust on Trump at all. Trump believes threatening will force Iranians to negotiating table. Iranians gave Trump a middle finger by shooting down the drone.

Trump administration failed to understand Iranians mindset and proud, the history and the culture. We Chinese understand that, because we are humiliated by a century and get back on our feet.

The North Korea tricks wont work because Iran is not North Korea and Iran isnt in North Koreas situation. I suspect you under estimate how much help and protection China and Russia have provided North Korea all this while. NK has real ICBM capabilities, but there is such a low chance NK developed it all on its own. China sold NK TELs against UN sanctions...everyone just let it go.

If they have evidence. Iran needs to do it in complete secrecy. They have already wasted a lot of time already. They were hoping if they don't build the nukes they would get some sanctions relief. No matter what Iran does, they won't get any relief. The west is not trying to trade sanctions relief in exchange of giving up nukes. They are just dangling the carrot of sanctions relief to make Iran give up nukes. Once they are sure Iran has no capability to make the nukes or it will take them a long time, they will attack. So whether Iran makes nukes or not, they will not get any relief and will be attacked anyway. So it is better for them to make the nukes.

I personally think the supreme leader and IRGC know this and hence I believe they made the nukes already in secret. That's my personal opinion. But if they haven't actually done this or still thinking the west will give them sanctions relief, they are living in fools paradise.

Quite a few Iranian nuclear scientists were assassinated. I highly doubt there is unknown secret project. IAEA did their duty thoroughly by JCPOA.

No. What you are ignoring is that RUssia and China basically authorized North Korea's belligerence against US+ Japan + SK. North Korea borders 2 permanent UNSC members. Iran doesnt have that. Its not the same thing. WIthout Russia and China's help, North Korea's govt would have already collapsed by now. No questions about it imo because there is no other way that would have allowed them survive without threatening anarchy in the country..
