I am a NASCAR fan and have been one for years!

A couple of interesting things about NASCAR. It is one of the last sports where they still say a prayer before each race. NASCAR fans are also a unique bunch. There is usually a camp out the day before the race of a few thousand people. Tents, RVs etc. There is music everywhere, grills are all over the place. But there is never any crime or violence. You can leave your stuff un-attended and I promise you nothing will be touched. Not bad for a mostly redneck crowd and a sport that has it's origins in bootlegging, eh?
