If Trump is looking toward SCOTUS to affirm his decision, he's grossly mistaken. Conservative judges are strict constructionists on Constitutional matters. Trump has no authority to overturn an amendment to the Constitution unilaterally through executive order.

No, but he does have some wiggle room: U.S.-born children of foreign diplomats aren't automatically entitled to citizenship since they aren't under U.S. "jurisdiction" but they are allowed the privilege of applying for "green cards" that are the first step on the path to U.S. citizenship. It's a privilege, not a right, and Trump can change it by executive order.

Otherwise it's just his usual headline-making bombast.

I wonder what will happen if that works out ? what if some kid born in US from a American born mother or father ? how could you deny a kid his citizenship ? its like saying as I am a Pakistani my kid can not be a Pakistani ?

chances of American born father or mother being a US citizen is high. no one will deny such a child citizenship
the law is aimed at folks who have no legal residency in USA. if they have kids their kids will not automatically get US citizenship
