Yaar heard Pakistan army will soon adopt different weapon , atleast we see in movies now. Hero carry G3 with pride, to kill the monster.

Yaar heard Pakistan army will soon adopt different weapon , atleast we see in movies now. Hero carry G3 with pride, to kill the monster.

Every new change is for good..i my self trained on G3 for a short period in PMA (108 LC) it is quite complex as compared to AK-47 (and the series). It is time to replace it with modern lighter assault rifle as standard issue which i believe took many years to complete the replacement. It is better to license produce H&K new version at home.

Are they planning to replace or stick around or its guard of honor display now...But, what basic complaint about this gun. I heard soldiers are not happy with this rifle.

yes i heard this it is quite heavy and not any more popular with officers. As i mentioned above it is quite difficult to maintain the G3 as compared to AK and new rifles. Yes for sure we should use it in ceremonial roles.
