Trans Asian Railway Network deal okayed

How is Bangladesh supposed to develop fully when India always interferes in our affairs and does her best to destablize our country.??? India is constructing another dam near the Sylhet/Assam region wihtout consulting Bangladesh. India is Bangladesh's biggest problem, and AL is India's pawn in making Bangladesh a subservient to her.

lolz, how long do u think India can hold on to NE India as more and more Bangladeshis are moving in. The politicans of Assam favor to give rights to Bangladeshis because the Bangladeshis give them the upper hand in elections.

What else have they taught u in 'school'?
I got a degree in History, and what they taught me in school is that history repeats itself in different forms. AL was very unpopular in the mid 70s because of Sheik Mujibur Rahman's treachory....if Hasina does something stupid against the sovereignty of Bangladesh, it's her *** which gonna get the burn.

How long can India's stooge AL have a grip on Bangladeshis. I asked one AL supporter about her views about India and she said "she loves India more than Bangladesh"...there's nothing wrong with that, but again this is the mindset of AL. Ask the new generations of Bangladeshis in UK, Canada, and USA, majority of them want Hasina and the AL gone from Bangladesh.

The new generation have nothing against Indians, they are friends with them, one of my closests friends is a Gujurati Hindu and I'm a Bengali Muslim. Us Bangladeshis have nothing against the good Indian people, we just hate India's policy towards Bangladesh.

Do you even know what Assamese speak?? I can understand most of what they say, the Sylheti dialect, spoke in North East Bangladesh, is a bridge between Bangla and Assamese. Plus Assamese and Bangla use the same script...I can read both Bangla and Assamese. And Muslim population is growing at an alarming rate due to Bangladeshi migration there. My Gujurati friend (an Indian Hindu ) even admitted that India can't expect Bangladeshis to stay in Bangladesh, that they will take over NE India. India can never boot them back by force because Bengalis and Assamese look alike...we have been one country for centuries before the partition; just because some white people drew some lines on United India doesn't change the ethnic similarities. A lot of people from Assam are from Bangladesh, who moved to India during the time of East Pakistan to escape from genocide.

You are brilliant, you've given me an idea. indeed history will repeat itself and bangladesh will become part of india :)

BTW the assamese just LOVE bengalis :)

Stupidest illiterate fanatic. Do you even know what assamese is?

it is a language with its own roots and script is derived from Devnagari(eastern nagari) the same script from where bengali and Manipuri is derived. Have you heard any assamese calling bengalis use their script? because they know their roots. Do you even know that Assamese is the first regional language in india to which the Valmiki Ramayana in Sanskrit was translated.

History of assamese goes back to stone ages. Assam has lost plenty of its land in Sylhet during the creation of Bangladesh.

Assamese are cool, welcoming and tolerate people, until their culture and motherland is not hurt. When they fight, enemy is terrorized.

Ever wondered how were the Mighty mughals defeted multiple times by a handful of assamese soldiers. In fact Assam is one of the only land to have been Mughal free in mediaval times. Assamese soldiers also faught and held the Japanese onslaught during WW2. Japanese had to surrender.

An example of how a true war is faught:

Just keep in mind , they are waiting peacefully to get a solution. Hope the bubble dont burst some day.

hope the Transasia Railways (India-Burma-Thailand-Combodia) also materialize soon. Thai govt have been tryin it real hard. They are very interested to explore the immense agricultural and tourism potential of NE India.

Your central govt wants, calcutta to be connected to NE not Thailand get connected to NE... :enjoy:
That is how they will have a solid grip on NE not NE have their own stuffs...
Your govt is more interested transit through BD

r u the railway minister of india or what ? I am aware of this BD link which hardly benefits india amidst this raising infiltration issue. Offcourse mostly our govt don't want a lot of things. but good things are bound to happen . Later if not sooner.

This is what people of india and assam wants:

The Assam Tribune Online

this will open up our freight access to SE asia. As thailand had a major share of agricultural and other goods in the entire south east and further. Assam being a surplus rice producer along with plenty of agricultural products and tea. This will also boost the existing tourism access from thailand to assam for foreign tourists.

This will definitely boost the indo-thai bilateral trade to amazing volumes.

Next dream project will be to see railway to china or atleast the historical ledo road being reopened after india - china border tensions are over.

This will imcrease the trade and tourist potential of assam with Kunming-China immensely.

Ledo Road - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

NE india is a potential gateway to boundless trade opportunities, which untill now is mostly landlocked due to border tensions.

As long as Bangladesh is treated like trash by India and as so long as AL is in power...Muslim Bengalis will never let NE India prosper. Assam belongs us!

Pipe dreams.... Assam belongs to us . I am Assamese and I am Indian.

A little note for all of you.

At partition time, the muslims of assam had the support of the non-muslim (and non-hindu) people of the province. The muslims leadership met jinnah and told him they could swing assam for pakistan. Jinnah promised them he would not abandon them and demand assam be part of pakistan. Some way along the line jinnah abandoned them in the interest of realpolitik.

Lol. During partition time, the number of Muslims in Assam would have been hard to count let alone think about joining Pakistan! And had you been the one to suggest it in Assam, i doubt if Assamese would have left you in perfect health!

Spare the bull-$hit your spreading all around.

.
but Bangladeshis will be accommodated at either north or south pole i guess because they ll loose almost all of their land
nope we will all migrate to Indian heartland LOL.

well sigh back to topic:will we be then having railway links with India?do we get to have connections with the Nepalese then?

The muslims were in a minority, but they felt they could count on the support of the non-hindus.

I'd be grateful if you would not speak to me using the language of the gutter.

Yes ofcourse, and im sure the Non Hindu's would have been THRILLED at the idea of joining a Muslim Country!

Damn, what happened, I see Indians talking smack to Bangladeshi's because their land is much smaller then India?
I mean, if we look at an individual scale, the smack talk coming from our Indian friends is hilarious, please, if you want to counter the argument of our Bangladeshi friends, you don't necessarily have to say things like "Bangladesh will dissapear anyway due to Global Warming" or that Bangladesh will be a part of India "again".
Spare us the negative nationalistic pride, you're making a fool out of urselves.

Thank you very much, spare us the moral lecture and use it the next time an afghani says 'we'll not let pakistan prosper, islamabad belongs to us'.
