The Chinese need to learn how to establish soft power. and it all starts with helping each other. I have random experience with Chinese couples to ask for the jump start my car but they rudely ignore my request. This is what china need to work on their people, Ethics.

China has a horrendous PR and HR department. It's foreign affairs just repeat the old and tired "win win" argument repeatedly and think that a big wallet can buy friendship.

The reality is that China's international image is horrible and few countries trust it. China is seen as a selfish country with zero ethics and zero moral compass. A large part of this is because of the shitty behavior of it's own citizens in other countries, another part of this is the complete ineptitude of Chinese media in projecting a favorable image of the country or making friends.

But retarded Chinese netizens on this site will just say "Only HARD POWER MATTERS!" And that's why China's image is terrible.

But there is hope:

rott will blame Viet people licking white boots.

taishang will claim Taiwan belongs to the mainland.

I have long said China's PR has been stale its only advantage is its massive wallet to get massive infrastructure projects but you guys can learn a thing or two from the Russians they are very good at using soft power to influence views on geo-politics I mean I compared the coverage from CGTN and RT,CGTN was barley going hard on issues like HK,Xinjiang and etc it was mostly oh everything was good sorta like how the Soviets had with Vreyma or Radio Moscow in the 80s everything is good that doesnt work people are more critical in general RT was going hard on China's case than whatever state owned media appratus China has tho recently I noticed a change in strategy which is a start but its fruitless to think you gonna get Western Europeans and North Americans on your side tbh they are taught to think they are views are the "best"

People have to understand that Chinese modus operandi is not imposing McDonald's and democracy down people's throats. That job is only reserved for the US.

China is not in the business of imposing their way of life onto others. China only cares about business.

And this did work for about 30 years but now China's too big for its britches and is target No. 1 and they are clueless as far as how to react to this.

I see individual Russian vloggers on youtube and they able to win friends and gain admiration in a way that Chinese people cannot do. This extends from the common person to the leaders.
