It has been used in many wars including the Soviet war in Afghanistan, Vietnam War, the Yugoslav wars, south Ossetia war and the Iraq war. This rifle is a gas-operated, semi-automatic rifle using a short-stroke gas piston, and the gas chamber has a two-position manual gas regulator. This rifle developed in the 1960s and is so effective and accurate that it’s still being regularly ordered by lots of forces around the world .
