Indians will never accept F-16blk 52 superior to even mig 29 or mirage 2000-9 ........ let alone GODS CREATIONS SU-30.

Everything starts at SU-30 and ends at L.C.A

and one more thing like F/16block 52 as you mention here ,then similary some one from israel going to yell about sufa,then mitsubishi F2,then english tornado,iran tomcat,then romania lancer ,A10 ,mig21Bison,jaguar darin 3,mirage rose upgrade,chinese f7 etc etc do you see any end point here

F16 is the best single engine fighter available in the world today.

Reasons for its trailing in MRCA is not due to technicality but are mostly strategic and political reasons.

Actually I spoke to a couple of guys day before yesterday and they told me that the F-18 will be chosen for sure and MOD is planning to increase the number further because of some extra deals that Boeing is offering. I am yet to hear anything positive about the F-16, it will be highly unlikely that India will chose the F-16.

lol i think it will be more in the likes of local production or add on's in terms of avionics. The F-18 is the best choice for sure, its cheaper than the Eurofighter and way more versatile. The Griphen and the Rafale are yet to even prove their worth. Partnership with Boeing will be a huge bonus for India in the longer run as well.

But they havent yet sorted out the legalities regarding the deal yet.. Even for transport aircraft , we didn't sign any CISMOA and other ones..

And how is it possible , that too for a fighter aircraft deal to go ahead in-spite of all these??

In all probability it will be a FMS deal from existing inventory.

F 16 IN was more for an MMRCA profile. This one seems to be more for CAP/SEED profile..
