As-salamu alaykum.

To all PTI supporters,
Please don't believe everything that media is showing.
Don't pressuerize your own government on false news.
They all are new so please give them some time to settle and understand everything.
Not only Status quo is against IK/PTI but this so called unbiased/impartial media is also against IK.
Criticize them whenever they do anything wrong but first wait for official response and if you still find government guilty after that, then you have all the rights to criticize them.
IK don't have any magic wand through which he can clean 71 years' mess in one week.
I know people have a lot of expectations from IK but for that you have to give him sometime, at least 3 months.
Pakistanis were tolerating Nawaz Sharif, Asif Zardari, even Altaf Hussein for 30+ years but they can't tolerate Imran Khan for 7 days...?
Please trust and support IK, because at this time he needs our support, but instead of supporting IK/PTI we are weakening them by playing in the hands of opposition/media.

Pakistanis in general need some common sense. Look at the credibility of the source for all your news. On forums, news without source is not tolerated, to help reduce the chance of speculation. Why believe anything anyone will type or broadcast? The amount of videos shared with me offering cures for diabetes, blood pressure, cancer etc, or other hoaxes is amazing. It's always Pakistani relatives forwarding them. So gullible.

We live in the era of 24/7 news. Media standards have slipped in order to fill air time and to gain popularity to maximise advertising revenue. Wait for news from reliable sources, wait for official responses.

It's important we keep the balance and not become Patwaris and Jiliyas, but at the same time we shouldn't be turning on the government at the click of a tweet.

You are absolutely right, they have entrenched the civil bureaucracy with their touts from the past 30 years and people expect to see the change in a week.
It has been literally just 4 full working days of the new government. People need to have a little patience and specially PTI supporters. You're falling into the traps laid by these mafias one after the other.

Be patient as they say "sabar ka phal metha hota hai".

I personally think that ministry of information has to do two things (1) raise the awareness level of the people about how to analyse the news and be responsible.
(2) enact and implement regulations that outlaw spread of disinformation and public unrest.

We need to bring a law for media, that if a journalist claims something on media he must be ready to prove it in court with unquestionable proof.
They keep making over exaggerated claims against anyone they want with no repercussions. This needs to end.
