Three FC personnel martyred in North Waziristan landmine blast

NORTH WAZIRISTAN: At least three personnel of the Frontier Corps were killed when a landmine went off in North Waziristan near Pak-Afghan border.

According to security sources, the landmine planted in Ghulam Khan tehsil of the tribal agency exploded when the vehicle of the personnel ran over it. As a result, three personnel were killed.

Soon after the blast, rescuers arrived at the site and shifted them to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities.

A contingent of security forces also reached the site of the blast and cordoned it off for security reasons. A search operation was launched in the adjoining areas to look for culprits.

Earlier on Dec 22, three Frontiers Corps soldiers were martyred when armed men fired across the Pak-Afghan border in Mohmand Agency.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations, the terrorists fired from across the border on FC troops busy in construction of a new border post at Shunkrai in Mohmand Agency near the Pak-Afghan border.

The soldiers who embraced martyrdom include Lance Naik Irshad Hussaim, Havaldar Muneer Khan, and sepy Haq Nawaz Khan.

FC troops responded and killed five terrorists while as many were injured. The terrorist fled and were seen carrying back dead bodies and the injured.

“Pakistan paying price of Afghan forces’ capacity lack / ungoverned spaces on Afghan side of the Border,” said the military’ press wing.

Soldiers have their families and each family has its own probs, few chaps cant handle it and they do suicide.

Don't worry about our generals and worry about yours. Who knows some general might be busy raping fellow officer's daughter after promising her a career in modeling.

PESHAWAR: Three security personnel were martyred in an IED explosion in Tehsil, Ghulam Khan of North Waziristan, security officials said on Sunday.

The bomb attack took place near a basic health care unit in Algad area, a senior administration official told The Express Tribune.

The men were part of the bomb disposal unit clearing the area.













This is the seventh terrorism incident in the agency in the past two months.

Three FC personnel were martyred and five terrorists were killed in a cross-border attack from Afghanistan on Friday on an under-construction post in Mohmand Agency the army’s media wing said in a statement.

ISPR said, “These officials were busy in construction of the new border post in Shonkrai near Pak-Afghan border in Mohmand Agency [when they came under attack].”

Last month, two FC soldiers were martyred and four sustained serious wounds when their vehicle hit a landmine in District Sibi of restive Balochistan.

This is a developing story and will be updated accordingly.

We dont categorize our deads. Nobody does suicide unless he is left with no option to live and you guys rejoice those deaths ?

Firstly you are our sworn enemy, the reaction would only be natural by some members besides don't try to be some snow white, one just needs to read the comments in say TOI on any tragedy to hit Pakistan to know the sadistic Indian mentality.... we are fighting a war hence casualties are thus expected.....a far cry from soldiers who take their own lives only because of some basic necessities.
