Three BLF terrorists killed in fighting with BRA terrorists in Gomazi

In the latest infighting incident, three terrorists, belonging to Baloch Liberation Front (BLF), were killed in fighting with Baloch Republican Army (BRA) in Gomazi area of Turbat. BLF and BRA, considered as allies in the on-going Balochistan insurgency, have been responsible for numerous terror attacks in Balochistan.

BLF was the main group operating in Makran Division. BRA came in 2015 with more funds and attracted BLF fighters to join them and some joined. Both groups are struggling to have more influence in the area. BRA gets more foreign funds so it has tasked to derail CPEC. BLF apprehended Dada Commander of BRA two days back so the killing of BLF fighters was the reaction of BRA.

The latest infighting incident is one of the several infighting incidents reported in recent years. The increase of infighting incidents has also contributed considerably in weakening the insurgency in recent years. Infighting has also been enumerated as one of the several reasons which have resulted in an increase of surrenderers since last year.
