I am not the one with the laws nor I have problems with the freedom of speech and expression. In real worlds, the power of freedom of speech and expression whether in western worlds or any worlds are exaggerated. And I am not surprised why main establishment is trying to take some control on the narrative lest it becomes full-scale civil war. However, people are free to disagree.

That being said, everywhere as freedom of speech and expression takes backseat when it comes to Armed forces, blasphemy, Monarchy, hate crimes,...etc, and that is not going to change anytime soon. I am just being realistic while people may disagree.

US does allow protest against everyone, people are quick to point finger at military and government, in peaceful manner. Iraq war a prime example. People hated the govt and were protesting all the time, without violence..

Lastly, if there is anyone corrupt in US, people do not spare them, and media even though controlled takes them to the task... Its a tranparent, open, free, with justice far far far better than anyohter place on earth. However, War crimes are ignored, that i agree, thats where the limits are.

Civilian governments are not same as armed forces. Civilian governments are criticized which has no bearing on Armed forces.

It is law that you cannot criticize the armies. Freedom of speech/expression has its limit and there is no such thing as unlimited concerning the matter of freedom of speech and expression.

There is a difference between those other armies and our beloved, self proclaimed self praised army. Pakistani public had a romance with this bully army for far too long and now that the reality of this great army is opening eyes of Pakistani public and now questioning their claims of bravery and victories; victories that has nothing to show for. These dumb 5 star generals who live in a bubble where no one else is allowed to enter, read stories of their bravery and intellect to each other could not even understand the idea that you don't appoint thieves as a bank's security guard....Or they really do not give $hit about the country but their own selves...how can you trust them to protect you against you enemies. I think General Bajwa got his pants wet when Imran ordered to attack India and he made up his mind to remove him otherwise he may have to fight.

Character of Generals matter. You can’t have a well equipped army with a traitor in charge. That person will not be able to make the correct decision and will cause lose of life. Soldiers will lose moral when they see their fellow soldiers die and order from top is to stay quiet.

Leadership matters and it has been proven by how soldiers performed during wars.

It’s not because Khan is dethroned. Bajwa allowed the most corrupt to come in power and destroy Pakistans economy. Not sure which world you live in but in a civilized society one doesn’t allow the people who robed you to guard your house again.
