Three Afghans killed in suicide attack on US base

KABUL: A suicide car bombing hit a US-run base in eastern Afghanistan Wednesday, killing at least three Afghans and wounding seven others, officials said.

Afghan interior ministry spokesman Sediq Sediqqi said the attack was a suicide car bombing and happened near the entrance of Camp Chapman base in Khost, close to the border with Pakistan.

Kabul: In the latest attack on American military facilities in Afghanistan, a suicide bomber on Wednesday detonated his car near a US base in Khost province in eastern Afghansitan.

At least three Afghans were killed and more injured when the car exploded near the US base named Camp Chapman in Khost, the BBC reported.



The attack was claimed by the banned militant outfit Taliban.

The province of Khost is the area where Taliban and Haqqani network are majorly active and they keep on staging deadly attacks.

Earlier in October, Taliban had carried out a major suicide attack killing 20, three of them being NATO soldiers.

In June, a suicide bomber killed 21 people in Khost, that included three US troops and a local interpreter.

What these bastards have been doing for the last 10 years is exploding themselves in some mosques , bases , markets , cd shops , bus stands , shrines etc killing thousands of Afghans in the name of " religion of peace " and " freedom from US rule " ... What is the total US casualties of Afghan war ? ... Less than 5000 right ? Compare that with the Afghans killed by the Taliban and other factions ...

The outer ring always consists of Afghans... that way the poor, innocent American soldiers don't get killed in case someone rams a suicide truck into the base.

US has perfected the art of using other nations to takes American losses for it.

No cause to celebrate, Afghan civilians killed and continue to be killed on a daily basis with the regularity and monotony of a clock's second needle moving. Statistics do say a lot of people would support the Taliban if they selectively only attacked foreign forces though.
