Threat level: Secret reports warn of a slew of TTP attacks

LAHORE: A secret report has issued specific warnings of terror attacks that around 16 Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) recruits are allegedly planning to carry out in Rawalpindi and Islamabad over the next two weeks.

The report — circulated by the National Crisis Management Cell (NCMC) at the interior ministry and shared with all provincial home departments, provincial and federal police departments and the federal capital’s commissioner office – said that Adiala Jail is likely to be the main target of the assailants who intend to free their accomplices in a prison break.
Additionally, the terrorists, all highly trained and reported to be currently residing in Attock, are expected to simultaneously target government installations and attempt kidnapping some high-profile people in the twin cities.

Another intelligence report, circulated amongst law enforcement agencies (LEAs) by NCMC, reveals that another group of terrorists is planning to target Pearl Continental Hotel, Rawalpindi along with Chaklala Airbase and the Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad.
Similarly, specific information received through various intelligence sources suggests that the Anisur Rehman alias Pir Farooq, a commander of TTP, has planned a series of targeted attacks on Pakistan Army posts along the Pak-Afghan border area.

Infiltration

A highly sensitive report reveals that two Afghanistan- based TTP Swat commanders namely Shakar and Kufar Kush along with 50 militants have left Kunar province to mount terror attacks in Dir. The militants are reported to have departed Kunar on August 13 and are headed towards Binashahi in Dir.

Threat to Chinese diplomats, engineers

The NCMC has also circulated another report indicating that Chinese diplomats and engineers, working in Pakistan on several development projects, are a prime target of TTP commander Aziz Mehsud. The report has been circulated to relevant agencies to ensure that adequate safety and security is provided to Chinese officials around the country.

Threats, security breach over & over again, unstable & corrupt politicians are a danger to Pakistan, there is no reason left for Pakistan Army from taking over & for good until all the threat & terrorists are completely crushed. I have been saying this over & over again that US Embassy & US Consulates are the main cause of terror & chaos in Pakistan, US Agents have collected so much intelligence in the past are now using that Intel & are training the terrorists according to the place where they have been send to attack.

What problems Pakistan is in today there is no current politician who can take Pakistan out of these problem because the political system itself is massively corrupt & it simply does not allow anybody to work. There should be a complete Military take over & Military should control everything.

All this what is happening to Pakistan is the result of Zardari under table deals with the US which he had made early in his power when he went to US. US have asked him for everything & he didn’t disappoint them.

The plan to attack Chinese is clear that US is behind all this & they want the world to turn against Pakistan. Not too long ago when Chinese were attacked in Pakistan China said in one of its statement that we know who was involved in these attacks. They knew it was US.

Martial Law or full Military takeover is the only solution for Pakistan.

About 2 weeks back, there was a threat level to Chaklala as well, and security was beefed up at the airport and the airbase. Now again. Something does seems suspect here.

PC hotel is also a big target, right beside the GT road, and with the MoD building and a Army Mess situated across the road. Army mess could also be endangered along with PC. Besides, my relatives live near PC!!!!

Expect the security apparatus to be on it's toes.

BTW, this ain't a secret report now is it? There was a tip off before the Kamra attack as well, the date was even specified along with 4 possible targets.
