Is it safe to say that many people on the Uzbek border check-point controls are sympatizers with the larger Afghan people and not the puppet regime or maybe it is just thinly veiled.

That seems unfortunate for the ANA soldiers. Not everyone will be allowed in like Ghani was. Foot soldiers get it the worst either way.
