What's new

The US now has the worlds most powerful Exascale Class Supercomputer at nearly 1.7 Exaflops

.
China already had 2 for close to 2 yrs or more.

Numnuts are now only shouting... Lol. Its because China didn't even want to show it off, US might freak out.

ah the Chinese pom pom cheerleader just in time making the usual excuses.
Better than some loud mouth. :enjoy:

When Chinese successfully carry out the world first hypersonic flight and we didn't even bother to shout it out until the American keep hype the China threat.

Frontier was installed last year, but issues with its Interconnect caused a delay in its Top500 submission. I also highly doubts Chinas machines are as efficient as Frontier.

Also the US Aurora 2 exaflop supercomputer is being installed now, likely for entry on the Top 500 list in November. It will likely take the #1 spot.

What are you talking about? Is this China re-writing history yet again?

China is ahead in exascale, even American engineers acknowledge this. China stopped reporting their advances in this field to avoid triggering the US since the tech war started.

The frog in the well will think he is the best in his well.

Please notice your initial claim of
"When Chinese successfully carry out the world first hypersonic flight"

and watch the video below

X 15: the first hypersonic plane

What? Rocket power? You know what u are talking about?

You know TengYun used what for propulsion, can you tell me?

Oh so now you want to change the definition of what the first hypersonic flight is?

Or do you want to keep the standard Chinese obfuscation method of having an implied hidden asterisk :rolleyes1: after every intentionally misleading sweeping claim...

I doubt Chinas machines are as energy efficient or software stack as advanced as Frontiers. And Aurora is being installed now.

Chinese supercomputer advances tend to be misleading. For example, China has to use a ton of IT service providers to "surpass" the US in number of supercomputers. Yet, if Google-Amazon-Apple etc were included, the US would dominate the entire list.

And Chinas Gordon Bell Prize winning machine was also fraudulent result.

China does this for attention grabbing headlines.

why do you guys bother arguing? when the list is published for everyone to see..

  • Sunway TaihuLight is a system developed by China's National Research Center of Parallel Computer Engineering & Technology (NRCPC) and installed at the National Supercomputing Center in Wuxi, China's Jiangsu province, is listed at the No. 6 position with 93 Pflop/s
  • Tianhe-2A (Milky Way-2A), a system developed by China's National University of Defense Technology (NUDT) and deployed at the National Supercomputer Center in Guangzhou, China is now listed as the No. 9 system with 61.4 Pflop/s.

Wow stop copying me dude, you call us wumaos and now changing it to cheerleaders. Cheerleading is American, be proud of your heritage please. Now where are your pink pom poms. Lol

The ones claiming we have exascale are Americans, and the one saying its fraudulent are Indians. Lolol. Nobody in China even said anything, its called reported by Western press. Facts are facts, we had been winning Gordon Bell awards a few times now, and with no known technical reviews, you can jusy claim we are not energy efficient, it's fake, bla bla bla, but facts remain, we DIDN'T CLAIM ANYTHING, IT WAS THE WESTERN HPC COMMUNITY WHO SAAID WE WERE Ahead. Apparently journalist can be better technical judges than those Phds judging Chinese supercomputers. Hey ask her to write a complain and retract our Gordon Bell Prize, you see us pointing a gun on those Western judges head? Gosh, that article sounds more like a bitch trying to justify they are better than competing. If they think we suck, then enter the competition and compete, not bitch about it later. Lololol, those are LOSER attributes, nobody is cheating when the judges are mostly Western technical. Experts.

We don't even bother going on that list anymore, Jack Dongorra knows our progress pretty well.
