Palestinians and Israelis are both mostly dark skinned. You have exceptions though.
Although I don’t care at all about melanin level, I just laugh at the notion which some Arabs (esp Palestinians and other Levantines) have that they are white. They are most definitely not, and it is no slight on them to admit reality.
Arabs will universally consider Pakistanis as dark, even when we are lighter than them. I find this whole phenomenon fascinating.
One Palestinian at my local masjid commented something about Pakistanis being dark to me when I was talking about something totally different and unrelated, then I compared my skin color to his and I was way lighter. I got a good chuckle out of it.
I have had American Whites ask me if I am European, seriously.
Pakistanis come in all phenotypes, some of us are even East Asian looking or straight Black African. Most of our country is light complexioned, albeit racially Iranic instead of Anglo-Saxon.
