If you don’t make it to the cinemas to watch Laal Kabootar or Sherdill this Pakistan Day, don’t worry — there’s another Pakistani telefilm all set to hit your TV screens on March 23 and it has just released its first teaser.
The teaser for Laal revolves around a young man from Balochistan named Behram, played by Bilal Abbas, who aspires to join the Pakistan Navy. Behram is a fisherman’s son who wants more from life, despite being forbidden by his father, played by Saleem Mairaj, who wants him to be a fisherman too.
Penned by the acclaimed writer Umera Ahmed, the film features Kubra Khan, Iffat Umer, Rasheed Naz, Sidra Niazi, Adnan Shah Tipu, Adnan Jaffar and Gohar Rasheed in leading roles.
Laal has been produced and directed by the director of Parwaz Hai Junoon Haseeb Hassan. He had already made headlines with television serials like Nannhi, Diyar-e-Dil and Mann Mayal.
The telefilm has been shot at the Pakistan Naval Academy, Ormara and Kund Malir. Laal has been produced with the support of the Pakistan Navy. You can watch the teaser here.
