As a Pakistani who keeps his hand on the pulse of Pakistani thinking, I can tell you that there three countries that we Pakistanis have a very close and personal ( Special ) Relationship with :

1. China
2. Saudi Arabia
3.Turkey

So it is obvious that Pakistan would prefer a strategic Relationship that includes all four of these Countries. As it becomes less and less important for Turkey to maintain Europe centric Foreign Policy ( partly because of declining economy of Europe ) Turkey will increasingly " Look East " for its Military and Economic Strategic Partnerships.
