After reading so much about the second world war ,There can be said many things but none comes close to this.
After Hitler's Germany saw its last sunrise the victors planned to unleash their Justice.

The whole idea of Nuremberg trails was to convict and hear the story of the victors,Why were the greatest murderers in history (Stalin and Churchill) spared?

Who was responsible for the katyn massacre?It is estimated that the USSR suffered 56 to 62 million "unnatural deaths" during that period, with 34 to 49 million directly linked to Stalin,while Churchill is responsible for the holocaust of our people (the people of Indian subcontinent) 6-7 million starved under Churchill in the forgotten holocaust.

@Northern : the victors had no trouble telling their own stories; the purpose of Nuremberg was to put the perpetrators of war crimes on trial. Some attempts to do so had been done after WWI - sometimes by the violating countries themselves - but in a number of cases prosecution failed due to lack of will or evidence. So the Allies made determined efforts to collect evidence of Axis crimes during the war and immediately afterward.

Yes, it would have been just to bring the Allies and Soviets to trial for their various transgressions of the laws of war but no one was in the mood to do it.

Exactly...even in this era of high tech media it was relatively easy to forge Iraqi evidences...and push the whole world into war in Syria...so human nature is always open to manipulation...and 60 years ago...it was far easier to do so..
