When the pistol wielding assassin runs off, his pistol is pointed downwards.

A shot is heard and the man in blue shalwar kameez collapses - shot in the head.

Perhaps the main shooter was trying to aim for the pistol wielding distraction.

If we disregard the patsy/diversion on the ground who got caught, I still think there was only only main shooter with the automatic fire. While 14 injured might point to the presence of more than one main shooter, it should be noted that 7.39mm bullets have high penetration and possibly splinters contributing to such a high number of causualties. Plus, I assume it's not hard to injure that many people on the overcrowded container, if you have a a trained hand and proper elevation, which the main shooter had in all probability, as most of the shots are on the legs. You can't do that from ground level.

Besides, due to the diversion factor, this was a relatively professional job and I doubt those who planned it, would want more loose ends than needed.
