The Need For Speed

I have seen videos where when pulling tight turns or executing High-G manoeuvres, the pilots get slammed into their seat, their neck shrinks into the shoulders or they breath heavily but i tell you this warrior is something else, cool as they come , looks as if driving a car on an empty motorway.
Just waiting for his 23rd March display and hopefully some gopro cockpit vids too. Keep sharing the good stuff.

That is because he is driving the car on an empty "motorway".....until 27000 AGL the airspace belongs to him...

Isn't that the case over most airshow venues. Seen even a Tornado pilot going through more body strain in a simple pull up than this guy doing a 9G turn.

I've seen a PAF F-16 HUD tape for a flypast over Islamabad and the 7G pull up is just as bad I would say....but tower and ground parade control had them stay under 27k feet.

The pinhead at 00:37 is the real gem executed by the outstanding pilot. Some serious Gs and excellent control right there @Windjammer, great share.

Always a pleasure to see our pilots execute some new moves like the seemingly idle engine glide by JF17 last year on 23rd March display, 00:17 :
Wow - that JF:17 maneuver was amazing..i have never seen that one before..did he do that on the actual parade last year? He seems to just pull back the throttle and let the plane just glide down and used the wings to lower the speed...not sure what this is called but I am impressed! I don't think our F-16 pilots do this maneuver....in order to lower the speed they go a long distance and make a sharp turn and come back with het lower speed...but this one was lowering the speed during a vertical descent...wow!

Do you know the damage retina takes? not sure of your side; but this is a common side effect they need to be checked for.

Yeah, this vid is from actual 23rd march display in 2017. I actually saw it happen before my eyes and was completely wowed. It was even more majestic in real time and completely jolted me as i didn't expect it to happen at that time.

I think the four brakes situated on all four sides around the rear fuselage help it break speed smoothly when throttling back but this move and the level of control at display, shows the excellence of the guy pilotting the aircraft.

I've since seen this move only once more at last years rehearsal of jf17 over F9 Park Isb display in September. But sadly, not on actual display day...and the moves were the same as usual.
