the episode of PMLN vs Qadri reflects about the politics done in Pakistan which is far from issue based politics but the typical celebrity politics, in which the politics is not done based on issues but personal egos

as far as highlighting the issues is concerned Qadri has failed to do so, just like Imran Khan so they have banked on creating controversies out of minor issues and giving them the political hype so that it can be catapulted into a public uprising and the dumb pakistani public fails to see the political masquerade in it.

PMLN itself needs to divert public attention from national issues which need immediate attention because to run the kingdom they need the public to think about other things then king Nawaz incompetence to address their issues. We are talking about the thick skinned dynastic politics which wants to form a wahabi kingdom in Pakistani state where the king rules the throne unrivaled for generations to come. sharif wants to become the king and rule this country by keep winning in Punjab and preparing his children as some crown princesses so that when he gets old, he can name his daughter heir to the Pakistani or Punjabi throne, so sharif is not the guy who would want to address public issues, but he would first want to defeat the rivals coming to challenge his throne so that he keeps ruling.

we talk about democracy in Pakistan and the democratic forces who are not democratic in manner in the first place. instead of behaving as a public servant and being among the public to solve its problems, shareef remains absent from the assemblies for years. PMLN representatives don't mingle with the public to address their daily problems, they remain closed in their palaces and instead of behaving as some public servant their manners reflect as some powerful monarch.

the major threat faced by Nawaz kingdom is Qadri (the mullah with disciples) and Imran (the celebrity with lots of fans) who like throne claimers are threatening the throne and need to be dealt with using state's force

this is clearly the picture im trying to sketch doesn't have to do anything with democracy, its just a battle of powers between the two claimers of the throne

the Qadri or Imran realise that the kindgom is engaged in internal fights (operation against TTP), its the best moment to strike when the king is internally engaged and challenge the rule, the king nawaz thinks that the priority is to defeat the political threat even though this may weaken his kingdom. when the throne is challenged, there is other priority than the need to keep the throne intact
