The hottest new release movie in China now. Everyone in China talks about this moive. The movie is a tribute to the old generations who were young in the late 70s and early 80s. The movie touched the Chinese and Vietnamese war which is rarely shown in Chinese media and many young Chinese now don't know anything about it.

.
A generation who lived in absolute poverty but were always ready to give everything they had, even their lives without any hesitation if asked by the country. That spirit was forever gone in China now.

is there any website where I can watch English dubbed Chinese movies?

.
There is 1979 China-Vietnam war scene in the movie. Which is very rare to be seen before.

Until now most Vietnamese don’t understand why China went to war against Vietnam to protect a regime that was considered as the worst inhuman mass killng machine of all time. The war has poisoned our relationship to China for hundred years.

Cambodia is not Xinjiang or Tibet. It is not worth to sacrifice chinese lives for foreigners that are mostly alien to common Chinese.

Why protecting a regime that wanted to kill to the last man and woman?

There are many theories about the cause of that war, but what happened had happened, let's try not to make them happen again in the future. An everlasting peace and friendship is good for both of our countries.

so far the best Chinese Drama ever produced is Nirvana in Fire.
No Romance, only Politic and Revenge.

I'd much rather that spirit be replaced by high-tech weaponry. The point isn't for Chinese to die for their country, but the enemy to die for his.

Exactly so. Now, patriotism is not to die, but to get so powerful that no one ever dares to hurt you and, if they do attempt, make sure they will be eliminated.

High-tech patriotism.

Make very patriotic AI machines ready to serve and die for the country.

:enjoy:

Soon after uniting the country, Vietnam started to pursue expansionism. The first Vietnam's target is Cambodia. China and US supported Khmer Rouge because it seemed to be the only force in Cambodia that had balls to resist Vietnamese expansion. In another word, Vietnam should be partly responsible for Khmer Rouge's rise.

Vietnam's ambition was obviously not limited to Cambodia, after Cambodia was annexed, Vietnamese attempted to attack Thailand. Vietnam wanted to swallow whole Indio-China peninsula. Which was absolutely not acceptable for China.

Sirs, can you check on the repeating vocal assault of this special poster terramarine please! He not only insults this forum but the cultural heritage of China. People outside China would think China is a country full of retards otherwise.
