The Ghazi Attack

How does one oneself be destroyed in a a 'flash of glory'? It was not a suicide attack, or was it? It is a pity that PNS Ghazi crew was so skilled and so wonderful and still managed to destroy itself 'with glory' by its own mine!

That is almost hilarious, except it lead to all hands lost.
More hilarious was INS kurki getting blown up and kirpan running away and leaving the crew to die.

Fukers still got medals for running away ..

or how INS Vikrant was hidden coz of the fear of PNS Ghazi.

PNS Ghazis crew died with honor...

What do IN records say? How was Ghazi destroyed?

East Pakistan was not a satellite. It was half your country. East Pakistan was surrounded by three sides by a larger enemy, if you feel that Pakistan ignored security of half of Pakistan, it is not India to be blamed but your government. Moreover 40-50k soldiers is wrong, because if 90k surrendered, the original number must be higher.

And victories are greatest, when results are extraordinary. Breaking an enemy country into two equal parts is not an ordinary event. The event changed the map of South Asia for ever.

In retrospect, it was a sad event, that showed the true face of India. But the positive side was that Pakistan emerged much stronger, and focused on becoming a nuclear power. One that gives every hater sleepless nights. You can claim 90,000 soldiers, (which is incorrect) or 90 million, the fact is that despite your illusions of grandeur, and chest thumping, the world see through your hypocrisy and media propaganda.

Lastly, Do keep in mind what happens when one endlessly trolls.

What do IN records say? How was Ghazi destroyed?
Am on phone, can't remember the name, but the INS Rajput was on pursuit - it was detected and the IN had intel on PNS Ghazi's whereabouts and approx plan (to neutralize Vikrant). What IN confirms is this -
i. PNS Ghazi was spotted and attacked by INS Rajput
ii. Ghazi was laying mines from 3 December to 4 December in the approaches of Vizag harbor hoping for Vikrant to enter and cripple itself.
iii. Rajput dropped barrels and Ghazi was forced to take evasive maneuvers.

Next IN claims that the anti sub barrels themselves triggered the explosion and the sub sank with all hands lost.
Some military experts(Indian Naval officers) say that it may have crippled it, but the Ghazi perhaps (forced to submerge excessively) hit one of her own mines and blew itself up, this was exacerbated by the overheating diesel engines + increased pressure with extra depth. We can't be sure exactly what was the last nail in Ghazi's coffin.

The IN refused salvage operations for years. Till 2003 when they took out the bodies of the dead and gave them military burials.

The remains of the letters of the dead and the logs and operational documents are put on display in museum, but the site is not disturbed (under IN protection) otherwise as a recognized war grave.

PNS Ghazis crew died with honor...
Meaningless romanticism. They died in a leaking steel coffin in the sea. This movie does no justice to them, to the Indian sailors and neither does your empty romantic patriotic bravado.

"Finest victory" by fighting 40-50k soldiers (with the help of local traitors) who were already engaged in a civil war for months were out gunned out numbered low on supplies with little to no air cover who were 1000's of km's away from their homes soldiers whom the locals were hostile to you call this a greatest & finest victory? if this is your definition of finest and greatest victory than i feel bad for you i really do.
@Kaptaan @Khafee @Areesh @django @The Eagle
Well said bro, I suppose after a thousand years of subjugation, they are entitled to beat their own drums:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Well that is your version of it. As per the INDIAN NAVY no such thing happened.

Now, no record of Navy sinking Pakistani submarine in 1971
