This is the dumbest Exchange control policy one can come up with. Instead of stopping luxury and non-essential imports, the government is going after that which saves lives. Once news of people dying due to lack of a 100 Rupee antibiotic comes out, there will be riots in the streets. This is a sure way to fail a nation.
