Chronicles of Abu Abdul Samad: THE DESTINATION A HEAD
Aslam Soha is a promising young man. Aslam became my friend few months ago when I was going back home, Aslam asked for lift from Center point Gulberg to RA bazaar.
Aslam is a supporter of Pakistan Tehrik Insaf headed by Imran Khan. Like many students he loyally supports and spreads the Massage of Imran Khan.
With rural back ground, he talks in lengths about poverty and injustice in Pakistan. Today Aslam phoned me and asked if I had time because he wanted to meet me. I told him to come down to my office.
Today he was bit bitter. I asked him about his bitterness on which he replied that few days ago he went to his village which is near Bhakkar. He was sitting with his cousin, who has well established cloth shop in Bhakkar, when an old woman came. Aslams cousin who knew the woman asked her that MashaAllah she seems to be a rich lady as she comes every month. The woman stated weeping she said I come every moth because I have four daughters who are in marriageable age. She works as a maid and save little money and buy cloths for their dowry
Aslam asked her why dont she go to Baitulmaal and Ask for financial help from Government. She said that she had tried but who listens a poor woman. Aslam whose father have respectable land holding. Tried to use his fathers influence which resulted in authorities and officials of Ruling party telling his father to advice Aslam to concentrate in his studies and not to indulge in politics.
Aslam asked me today Bhai if Baitulmaal is not for poor then whats it for?
Is it to help those who are rich or for buying political support from al ready well of people?
Pakistani masses are suffering from increasing gap between rich and poor. At one side rich people are getting richer and richer on the other poor are getting poorer. According to one survey inflation (SPI) in this past week for people earning from 3000 up to 12000 Rupees was 13.26 %.
We as a nation dont reckon the bitter realities of our society. At one side ruling elite is having good time and on other things are getting worst every day. Today our youth is becoming dacoit and criminals due to lack of jobs and our daughters are becoming prostitutes due to lack of dowry. Jobs are for people with links and money where as a poor genius may not even find a job of security Guard.
Prophet Once said leaders are amongst the nation and every nation gets the leader which it deserves
I am from start critical of Pakistani national elite who is raping the nation and giving services of being pimp to outsiders to Rape their own nation. I think these elite are what we deserve as we our selves are no batter then those who represent us. It looks that we our selves have forgotten the ideal of Pakistan and have adopted life of zombies.
Aslam asked me how can we change things, how can we change the system who can only produce criminals and extremists? I Quoted him Hazrat Jan Muhammad Shah Warisi, A Sufi saint from Haripur Hazara. Who once said We have to change the souls, If one soul wakes the whole universe wakes I told him that its time to rebel against the system and follow the ideals which our forefathers dreamed.
Pakistan is a metaphorical entity , In 47 we got land but failed to create Pakistan. We have to work for it. We have to build character and just like RAFFA PARTY of Turkey should work to wake people and convince them what is right and what is wrong. We have to go to brothels, in slums and sit with those people and tell them with love and sincerity that we as a nation are committing suicide.
We fist need to be humans then and then only can become Muslims and Pakistanies. Charity begins at home. We have to start work from our families, then streets colonies and cities. We have to work on principal of self help. A living person feels and dead dont, we have to start feeling miseries of our people we have to feel the social and economic injustice which is eating society like termite. World history tells only rebels become immortal who rebel against the titans of their era. Like Sunnah of Prophet the idols and elite of our time will oppose us. Our own family might oppose us but with passion, compassion and truth we will prevail. No one can win with force; change comes with logic, compassion and strong character.
Instead of criticizing others we have to change our selves become role model just like prophet did. When we will become role model then we will not need to tell others to follow us, they will do it automatically.
Pakistani society is like flock of sheeps they need direction; our leadership has failed miserably to give directions. People are getting frustrated and any sane mind can see revolution coming under the ground. People now ask what the hell is happening.
Why only common man suffers weather he is in Balochistan, NWFP, Sindh or Punjab where as elite enjoy life when common man dies from hunger, extremists or criminals?.
I think time is coming when we will undergo revolution like France, USSR or Iran. A common man will bring these elite to place which they deserves. Its time for us, the intellectuals, to spread the massage of Pakistan. To make support groups in our areas , colonies and villages and with social work and help to common man spread the massage of Pakistan, which demands us to make it a reality.
I few years back suggested to seniors of my area. That our colony has more then one hundred thousand residents. If every one gives only one rupee every day we will collect one hundred thousand. With this one hundred thousand per day we can arrange marriages of daughters of our colony and eliminate the chances of their getting in wrong directions to satisfy their body needs. Or loan it to young men to starts their own businesses / Shops to stop them going towards crime. We can make these young men to sign the contract with society to return this money, 2 rupees per day. We can build Schools and Educate our sons and Daughter who roam in our streets naked and because their parents dont have the money.
I think we have to work to bring peaceful change if we want to avoid violent one. In working and giving time we will make a better Pakistan for our children.

BaitulMaal is an institution of government for Poor whose responsibility is to collect Zakat from people and Spent it on Poors. But in Pakistan this zakaat is use for political briberies and very little reaches poor.
