"If we take meat from a thousand different animals and grind that together," he says, "we're pooling bacteria from a thousand different animals as well."

Shut up man, like vegetables and fruits are immune to viral and bacterial infection.FYI,the sweet potato which we all eat was found to have it's genome being modified by insertion of bacterial genome. In fact, due to insertion of bacterial genome into that, beet root got it's sweet flavor and improved look, done by nature, thousands of years ago.
Oh by the way, plants also get suffered of viral and bacterial infections and other factors do also affect them. One of the example of viral infection is zucchini yellow mosaic virus caused these pumpkins to become deformed:

or raspberry bushy dwarf virus or lettuce mosaic viruses or citrus psoriasis viruses.Oh and not to forget we have various bacterial infections as well.

root knot nematode, entering and infecting roots.Nematodes can also attack and destroy other parts of plants, including vegetables and fruits.Cut a small piece of vegetable and observe under microscope, you will find millions of them crawling, lol

Now grind all of them together and get yourselves a delicious pool of crawling nematodes, viruses and bacteria, lol

Stop posting those gross images, whats your idea to kill all veggies from starvation ?

.
thanks, I'm going to quit eating now
Ah,I simply meant that there is not a single alive specie on earth with some degenerating factors.I,definitely am not imposing to eat beef to my vegetarian friends. However,I am quite disappointed with author giving such pathetic justification to support his reasons for not eating meat.

lolz...stop blaming meat as the only vector to diseases....

I think the point is , Meat should be left for the time of need or its consumption should be limited .
Some friends of mine eat Meat 24/7 , even when they have abundance of other foods .

Humans are Omnivores, their anatomy and physiology is designed for that. Its actually vegetarianism which is not good for health.

Depends on your genes, which place you live too, physical activity...etc. ppl in colder climates can take in lot of calories or ppl who have eaten meat for generations can go for it. But for others junking on meat is not going to work. For eg caucasian or arab eating meat throughout the week is ok but for indians it will simply make them super fat.

ppl and food habits evolve over period of time based on their surroundings . Obviously we cant expect eskimos to eat leaves or arabs to go in search of rice.

More to do with lifestyle.....But body has it in our DNA to produce certain proteins....and to absorb needed stuff from meat (meaning digest it)
