. . .
so thats why US has such a large defence budget, well they have only 80 arleigh burke class destroyers to begin with!!!

You are right. That is why building a strong Navy is so expensive. So not everyone can afford a strong Navy. Another factor peculiar to the naval assets you have listed above is the long gestation period. From the design phase to induction, it takes long to build these assets. Each of these warships takes many years to construct followed by sea trials etc. A country can have a reasonably good Air force in say 7 or 8 years. But a good and effective navy will take decades to acquire.

.
I think us warship are expensive compare to others due to more labor cost and research and development cost . suppose if you pay a south asian naval engineer a salary of 20000~30000 dollar in their home country that will be enough for them but if you pay them in us yo have to pay 3~5 times so the cost will be increase significantly .

Defenitely Labour cost is a reason, but it is not the only reason for high cost. Their technology is always atleast one step ahead of the rest of the world. And they are having almost everything in their arsenal. For ex, let us say Germany is good in making submarines, Russia is making excellent fighter aircrafts and missiles, Israel produce advanced electronics. And USA makes all of them with great technology and induct them in good quality and quantity. So, more advanced and diversified R&D also makes it even more expensive.

.
Ships are only a small part of the overall costs of a global blue-water navy.

Personnel, facillities and running costs over the lifetime of any ship (or regional fleet) are many times the acquisition costs of the hardware.
