After the third-party certification of JET in Japan, the steady-state photoelectric conversion efficiency of the all-perovskite stack cell developed by Renshuo Solar's team reached 29%, breaking the world record of 28% set by the team in June this year. This breakthrough in conversion efficiency shows that perovskite-stacked perovskites (that is, all-perovskite stack cells) can achieve efficiencies far exceeding those of single-junction perovskite cells. At present, perovskite batteries have attracted the attention and entry of a large number of scientific research forces and capital markets. Renshuo Solar was established in 2021 by Professor Tan Hairen from Nanjing University. It is a player worthy of attention in the perovskite battery track. Shen Chengyong, co-founder and CEO of Renshuo Solar, said that the efficiency of perovskite stacked cells has increased by 1% within half a year, and this growth rate is unparalleled by other technologies. It is estimated that the efficiency of Renshuo Solar's tandem battery laboratory is expected to exceed 30% this year. Breaking through 30% efficiency has become the common pursuit of current perovskite battery developers. There are already foreign research teams at the forefront—scientists from the Helmholtz Center in Berlin (HZB) in Germany claim to have developed a perovskite/ The silicon tandem solar cell has a certified efficiency of 32.5%; the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) and the Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology (CSEM) announced that the conversion efficiency of the perovskite/silicon tandem solar cell jointly created has exceeded 30%.

It is worth noting that the industrialization process of domestic companies is accelerating. In the past three years, leading perovskite companies such as GCL Optoelectronics and Cinano Optoelectronics have realized the trial production of 100-megawatt-level perovskite battery pilot lines, and leading companies in the crystalline silicon industry and cross-border giants have also deployed. Bank of China Securities stated that since perovskite batteries broke the conversion efficiency record in the first half of 2022, they have entered the second stage of industrialization: from laboratory research and development to pilot line construction, and manufacturers have begun to discuss supply chains with gigawatt-level production capacity Supporting cooperation, the overall planned production capacity of 15 battery manufacturers in the industry has exceeded 30GW, most of which are industrialized by university R&D teams. According to the statistics of securities companies, the production capacity of perovskite components is expected to be 0.87GW and 24GW in 2022 and 2026, respectively, and it is expected to form a production capacity of more than 1GW perovskite components in 2023. In 2026, the production capacity of perovskite battery components will be about 24GW, of which the perovskite battery for BIPV will be about 15GW, corresponding to a market size of 40.9 billion.

Technology iteration brings development opportunities for equipment companies. Bank of China Securities believes that the order of investment opportunities is mainly: coating machine > TCO glass > RPD > evaporation > whole line > laser, while domestic equipment manufacturers are actively seizing opportunities in the Demo period and paying attention to: Dehu Coating Film and Zhongneng Optoelectronics are leading the layout of coating machines; Jiejia Weichuang exclusively supplies RPD equipment and actively deploys the entire line; Evaporation equipment has been entered by many competitors such as Alled, Xinyihua, Zhongneng Optoelectronics, Jiejia Weichuang, Shengcheng Photovoltaic, etc., and Xinyihua is the first to release a large-scale mass-produced model; Shengcheng Photovoltaic (Jingshan Light Machinery) takes PVD equipment as the core and ALD equipment as the research and development direction. At the same time, it has glass cleaning machines, perovskite drying equipment, and component packaging equipment.
