The Conflict in Iraq as Related to Turkey.

.
They're not cowards, Iraq did well in it's previous wars minus the wars against the US since they're a superpower, Kurds are not Iraqis and people were boasting about how brave they were all the time, ISIS never attacked them until now, this was the first organized ISIS attack against them and they fled.

The reason is because they received bad training ( Iraqis and Kurds ) and because they never faced any firefight ( Kurds ).
They take too many pictures, some with ghost masks and girls.

Nowadays Peshmerga relies on nationalism and feeling superior, Iraqi soldiers put their trust in religious figures.

As you see 2-4 flags on each car as if it's some clown show

I have to say that the Peshmerga have been a huge disappointment. All we saw over the last few weeks were clips upon clips of them running around with swanky guns, nice uniforms and screaming a great deal. As soon as they faced ISIS, the capital itself, Erbil was under siege!

Some accounts here:

Shifan Rashu Ossei gave Al-Akhbar an account of what happened with his family. He said that IS had threatened to attack their village in Sinjar 20 days earlier. When they tried to leave in anticipation of the threat, he said, the Peshmerga stopped them, telling them they would repel any attack.

Ossei said, “But the IS attacked us and the Peshmerga escaped, and left us to face our fate alone.”

Beginning in the early hours of the morning, IS forces attacked the Sinjar Mountains. The Kurdish Peshmerga defended the area for two hours before being overcome and retreating.

The Kurdish loss of this strategic territory resulted in the flight of hundreds of thousands of Kurdish refugees

Wow, seriously? I think they have far more serious things to ponder upon, as ISIS tear through Kurdish territory in Northern Iraq.

o_O

As they famously say, never get amateurs to do a soldier's job....

That's funny, I was expecting the KRG to fail in a head on collision with ISIL, that's why they have been asking for help.

Oh well.Having seen so many of their "commando" videos, I was feeling optimistic.....

Well, Iraqis also had pretty bad *** Swat videos with fancy toys...
Yes but they are doing well, ISOF receive 3 months of intensive training, though those are assault SF they are only 10K at max they can't take care of all cities in Iraq.

Regular soldiers get captured often, the only video showing ISOF captured is 3 ISOF medics who were betrayed by a local sheikh. No other capture of them.

Dont get me wrong i wish nothing more than Iraqs recovery but the incompetence of Iraqi Army lead to civilan massacre and the captivity of our Embassy staff.
