Ernesto Che Guevara : Who turned the tides of History

Chi famous quotes :-

“If you tremble with indignation at every injustice then you are a comrade of mine.”

“I know you are here to kill me. Shoot, coward, you are only going to kill a man.”

“I would rather die standing up to live life on my knees.”

Synopsis.

A question since childhood pinched me who is Chi Guevara whose picture is used as an icon in almost every sort of agitation to accessories i.e Shirts, bags, glasses, cups etc.

Then I belonging to medium class went to public education institutions where many taught that communism is heresy however I still recall voice of one teacher who said that communism is the system which most near to message of Islam. However till matriculation or inter I considered Chi Guevara also as an alcoholic enemy of religion and as idiotic in some ways. However then read some material from here and there from which I came to know that the case was opposite. Chi Guevara despite his appearance in pics was a far more greater personality who lived for lower classes and died for them. Chi first became travelling researcher, then medical practitioner later on turned into Guerrilla leader then politician for short time and again chose final path of Guerrilla. He always sacrificed his personal benefits for greater cause as after Cuban revolution he could enjoy a luxurious life on basis of his past acts but once again he set sails for his final destiny willingly like many before hi did i.e like first Tipu Sultan, Begum Mehal did against British and then Subhash Chander Bhose and Bhagat Sing Azad went on same path.

The main aim of this writing is to cover Guerrilla philosophy of Chi which was not to do bloodshed but to sacrifice own life for true cause as done by Hazarat Hussain R.A and His companions in Qarbala.

The below mentioned quotes clearly explain the Chi’s whole guerrilla philosophy.

“Above all, always be capable of feeling deeply any injustice committed against anyone, anywhere in the world.”

“I will fight with all the weapons within my reach rather than let myself be nailed to a cross or whatever.”

The key success factors of Chi Guevara Guerrilla Philosophy.

1- The revolutionary public groups can defeat a regular army.

2- There should be strict accountability especially in case of a small gurilla group is facing a large enemy, as a small mistake can cause total destruction.

3- The Guerrilla political and military leadership cannot be divided.

4- The Guerrilla leadership can be effective only through Guerrilla camp not through luxury city office.

5- National racism should be curbed.

6- Though importance of urban area struggle cannot be neglected but remote areas are breeding grounds for guerrilla struggle.

7- The key for success of guerrilla struggle is general public support.

8- Know how of area of operations.

9- The enemy weaponry should be given importance and enemy weapons are main source for guerrilla forces.

10- The new guerrilla groups should be formed and ultimately be converted in to army to face enemy forces.

11- Quick response is must,

12- Unnecessary sacrifices should be avoided but where necessary the guerrillas must be ordered not to retreat till last.

13- The enemy should be countered by surprise attacks and where front positions are strong enemy positions should be attacked from rear.

14- Encircling the enemy force by smaller guerrilla groups

15- Initially Guerrillas get their knowledge by own experiences but later on when more are is in control then new entrants should be properly educated about their mission and other areas.

16- Though sabotage is must but it should be planned and must not put negative impact on general public.

17- The required resources should be obtained with help and support of general public.

18- The maintenance of secrecy and proper intelligence should be there.

19- The Guerrillas should be disciplined and show high ethical standards.

20- Women should be given equal importance and participation.

21- The guerrilla should have all possible required equipment with them whether it is relatively bulky.

22- The services of doctors/ other staff should be obtained in are of operation.

23- There should be one revolutionary Guerrilla leader.

24- The enemy soldiers caught during operations should be treated well and if proper arrangements are not there they should be released.

25- The communication resources should be used for propaganda.

26- The infrastructure of enemy should be destroyed for final victory.

Conclusion:
The Ch Guevara guerrilla philosophy was not based on armed struggle only but to change society for benefit of all from education to higher positions . That’s why though he died in Bolivia yet his vision shall live forever.

May Marx rot in hell
No, he is trying to point out our insecurities. You see, Allah azzwajal is all knowing and he has distributed intelligence & wisdom to people regardless of their faith, race or creed. Hence, as a Muslim we should learn good things from their lives rather than feeling insecure. As a Muslim, our faith should be strong and it must open doors of accepting knowledge & wisdom from the universe.

Thank you for the tag.
I thought the Thread Caption should have read "Che Guevara: Philosophy", but I am just an ignorant novice who doesn't have too much knowledge about such matters.

Guevara practiced his own brand of Marxism & Militancy to support Castro and to emancipate the working class and the exploited. After his death ... his strategy and convictions begun to be known as Guevara-ism.

He attained fame and recognition because of his selfless acts for the masses but somewhere along the way it became apparent that he thrived in violence and excelled in it. After the success of his campaigns which led to the achievement of the Cuban revolution, he attempted the same in Bolivia ... perhaps not with Castro's total consent & support and nor with Russia's approval ... he was eventually captured by the American led forces ... and killed ignominiously.

This is the version of Guevara that is supported by non-socialist & non-communist literature.

The other version being the one presented by the OP.

As per my father used to say about him, the truth is somewhere along the middle of the two versions.

My two cents.

I am not a communist I use to think the same about Karl Marx but a lot of what he said about Labor value and economics has some validity just like the so called father of "Capitalism" Adam Smith made decent points about economic theories again as a system in practice Communism and Capitalism have both failed in providing solutions to problems hence I oppose both however I think decent points of those systems and ideas can be used

Yeah I agree he did well in the Cuban revolt against Batista you could the same about Qasim Sulemani as well but complex figures

his memoirs has been translated into urdu and is available in pakistan. he wrote that at any time during his struggle, his team was never more than 80 people. amazing and fair man. thank you for posting it. its fairly rebelleous for PDF i guess :)

I was confused, Earlier. After a long day...

The write up is very knowledgeable though, Good work @CHI RULES

Worldwide well funded Disinformation and hybrid warfare orchestrated by the Soviet politburo made guerillas much larger than in reality. Behind those guerillas were huge funding and military machines supplied by the Soviet. The same applies to the Afghan Mujahideen. Without massive US-Saudi-Pak support mechanism they were doomed. Sane applies to the Muktis in the East PAKISTAN.
Most guerillas have failed than become successful in big proportions in the entire history and after the Soviet collapse , they all evaporated. Guerilla concept is an illusion and based on distorted facts.

Didnt get it what are u trying to establish.

Firstly, a superb OP.

however I still recall voice of one teacher who said that communism is the system which most near to message of Islam.

This I have also believed forever.

6- Though importance of urban area struggle cannot be neglected but remote areas are breeding grounds for guerrilla struggle.

This hasn't worked in India. The much misunderstood guerrillas of the Communist Party of India - Maoist ( also called the Naxalite movement or Naxals or Maoists ) at least for the last 20 years have fought mainly in the jungles of many states. And this has allowed the establishment to build up misinformation against the Naxals and no positive achievement by them has been allowed to reach the understanding of the urban masses. For example, the Naxals recently eliminated some thugs of a criminal group. I too don't know anything beyond this but the middle class or the many "educated" people will not see even this in positive light.

But my understanding about the Maoist movement is that they should have a peace agreement with the Indian Supreme Court in the manner of the FARC guerrillas in Columbia doing a peace deal with the government.

You are just adapting the teachings of Marx and Engels to suit your narrative, one that has been indoctrinated to you since infancy.

Come real, Jamahiriya, and accept that Marxism in India is a sham!

My conclusions are my own, as would have been those of the OP's Pakistani professor.

I am not from Bengal or Kerala where there is a social atmosphere of socialist teachings and discussions.

Going by many Muslims in the place I live, I would have been perhaps partial towards the Tableeghi Jamaat.

Come real, Jamahiriya, and accept that Marxism in India is a sham!

Well, among the public socialist / communist groups in India I don't see much ambition.

A few years ago I wanted to join one of these public groups so I had a few meetings with the State Secretary of one of them. An intelligent man. He had been to Cuba but among the things we spoke he didn't tell me if his group ( or the Indian movement in general ) had a road map of adopting experiences and experiments from movements in other countries.

I am not talking about violent struggle but of a more societal intellectual exercise and experiment.

its fairly rebelleous for PDF i guess :)

Actually not. I once posted a similar thread in 2016 and had good response.

in practice Communism and Capitalism have both failed in providing solutions to problems hence I oppose both however I think decent points of those systems and ideas can be used

True Communism has not arrived yet. My understanding of it you can see in my signature.

However, I feel that many implementations of various understandings of communism have been incorrect or incomplete. That is why I keep propagating The Third Universal Theory aka Jamahiriya theory which governed Libya until 2011. You can read that theory here.

Chi Guevara - more a romantic than a successful guerrila leader

An intelligent being is romantic, idealistic.

But he also successfully achieved Cuba.

Karl Max as a Jews adopted one of the social system in one of Jews tribe who live base on communal system. This social system is only practiced by religious community. You can try to search it on google. So communism itself is first found by religious people and later that spiritualism behind this system is taken out by Karl Max by making its own communist version with Atheist as the belief system of such community.
