Of course Assad will outlast Obama. Assad is a dictator-for-life, as his father was and Mr. Obama is the democratically elected leader of an actual republic that only allows him two terms of office. Kind of a "no brainer".

That would come as a jaw-dropping shock to the elite that I know, as well as anyone who covers American politics as a journalist, including foreign journalist, political insiders, historians, etc. I don't know where you live in America, but where I live, (just like you see in this presidential election), elections are bitter, hard fought, contest where there is no telling, what is going to happen most of the time. Do you like....not own a TV?

So you are saying that the rich, white, aristocratic and much, much, MORE, anti-Russian opponents of Obama in 2008 & 2012, were not to the liking of this mysterious American hidden elite you speak of? Your claim was that they controlled the outcome of elections....so why did they not simply put one of their own in the White House, as opposed to a left-wing, black, community activist?
