Ipso facto then, Pakistan which came out of a process of British colonization and a focus on divide and rule.. but also be in the same filthy boat as the Americans. Except in this case, the bads are not just from the British that evolved futher.. but also the bads of its own land.

The same goes for India and pretty much the entire commonwealth.. which brings us back to the British and how they evolved from the Saxons and other Germanic tribes and took their bad and good and so on. And the entire cycle of throwing dirt keeps going on with no actual point to this thread other than someone who has some needless beef with USA.

Since my own brother is now in West Point, he even told me on the phone this weekend that apparently if he enlists in the US Military after he graduates, after serving, he will be granted US Citizenship. I didn't know that was an option that the United States offered.

Its a thing called MAVS or MAPS.. you serve two months or so(if you have your green cards and you will have your citizenship. Try pulling that off in Saudi Arabia.

Like them or hate them you can't ignore them. They are without any doubt the sole superpower at the present time. Their military, economic power needs no introduction. Coca cola is ubiquitpous like water.

I look at America and I think of Britain. Magnify the good qualities of the British 5 times. Magnify the bad qualities of the British 10 times and you get USA.

i accidentally took my brothers passport to canada and got in but when i was coming back i told them that i had the wrong passport and they after checking me let me in, while a indian hindu did the same thing few weeks later and they forced his wife to get his passport because they wouldn't let him in without proof. and that indian hindu had to stay in canada for few extra days.

Well that's really nice to hear. I said that coz I know many people who live in US and say that Americans don't behave very well with foreigners. I am not having a go at US. Neither am I saying the Chinese are angels. International politics is driven by self interest period.

I was more interested in the comparison I made between US/UK. I think UK is more refined forbearer of USA.

If i could sum up what America meant for me? As a Japanese National living in this beautiful, God-blessed nation, it would be this:

Yes, you are right. UK is so much more better perfect wonderfully greater sophisticated than USA, which is a horrible dump full of pickup driving gun-toting racists yelling "YeeeeHawww!".
