Thank You PDF

I think the best way to learn English is by reading. Read lots of books, watch movies or cartoons or whatever in a foreign language (ie. anime) with English subtitles etc.

I am glad to read your comment, and feel very encouraged. All the more so since we have native English speakers among us, which I did not know, unless the reference is to the rare Englishman, American, Australian or Canadian who strays in here.

Incidentally, you might want to use 'advice', not 'advise', which is a verb.

Stuctural?

Thanks! I never knew there was even a word 'advice'. I thought 'advise' could be used both as a noun and a verb.

I have told that my vocabulary sucks sometimes. Thats why just used the word structural. But I think its acceptable here.

@DRaisinHerald

Maybe you should think before acting sarcastic. I'm on mobile version thats why I can't see flags, and that's why I was asking.

My bad, some people are just too slow on the jokes here

Does reading English **** stories helps? :woot:

I don't see why not. Beware though, they do use a lot of improper slang which you don't want to accidentally utter in front of people

. .
Then what different PDF do? Go to any India-China dick measuring thread and you find loads of slang :)

You're learning your words, it seems

Nevertheless, read books, novels, newspapers and whatever else, even comic books; that's really the best place to learn English, free from the world of internet slang.

. . .
Please dont learn english in any forum.
Otherwise you would use words like IMO. LMAO. LOL. LOLZ etc.

Reading novels and newspapers like Hindu can be advised.

Ya I do that as well.Another benefit of using this forum is that you get to know about the current affairs from the contemporary world. In newspaper you find a news, but here you can find the news as well as the healthy debate(sometimes unhealthy) on the news. Additional information is also put forth by the forummers, relating to the topic.

.
read some english classics , then jump on to david eddings / bernard cornwell novels

Besides this read newspapers.

There used to be a time when The Statesman was know for its impeccable english. Don't read the local rags.

Watch the news on BBC.
