Abdul Aziz's case was not heard by CJ Iftikhar, so please don’t put the blame on him. This issue has been discussed in detail in this thread here:http://www.defence.pk/forums/national-political-issues/25213-maulana-abduz-aziz-released.html. Please browse through this thread, if some question is left unanswered, post it in that thread or in this one.

Courtesy of the "Free" cj sir. After the restoration this sick retard was released on bail (so much for speedy trials) and to this date the CJ has not even bothered to issue an arrest for this guy. He has 30+ pending cases of muder, torture and you name it.

Look, don’t talk non-sense. You don’t even know how Judicial system works, and here you are ranting. I have given the link where this issue "Abdul Aziz release on bail" was discussed and discussed in detail. Please read the posts from the seniors, and than, if you find something was not clear, or something was missing, come back and make your point. Mods have informed people several times to avoid posting meaningless 'one-liners'. Don't simply throw your opinion, come up with arguments.

qsaark, please elaborate.

What am I supposed to interpret, within the week of the restoration of your beloved "FREE" CJ the judiciary which fairly was reluctant to release this criminal released a person on charge of treason, murder, torture and what not. As I previously mentioned he has 30+ pending cases against him including treason!

Why was'nt he released in the Dogar days? Why did those wooklas keep ranting for his release? Yet, he was released on bail within a week of the restoration of CJ Ifti.

Clearly, your hostility vindicates my stance on the issue.

Once again, I'll request you to please go to this link http://www.defence.pk/forums/national-political-issues/25213-maulana-abduz-aziz-released.html and read through the posts. I can answer you here but you can find a more detailed discussion on this topic in the mentioned thread. You'll find replies not only from me, but also from more informed and senior members.

It could be put better as thank you general Musharraf who didn't put up enough evidence against this man.

The question of evidence is moot - the man was not tried. If his arrest in camera in Burkha from the lal masjid is nt evidence, then one can argie that no eveidence will have sufficed - however; there was enough evidence to issue a arr4est warrant and the man should have been tried and the people of Pakistan given justice.

Only blind men cannot see that Abdul Aziz is an irhabi. How can Pakistan have a civil society if it cannot understand this? He is not a democrat who will stand for the rights of anyone but those who are subservient to his views. The misplaced tolerance of his power is at the root of Pakistan's crisis.

No judge can give a ruling against the law sso I won't accept the fact thata judge will go against written rules however CJP didn't even hear this case so i am wondering why we are targeting him. The person has been released on bail if their is evidence against him he will be convicted and specially now because he has aided to people that want to break pakistan I am sure that justice will be delivered during his trial.

CJP heard his case or not, bottom line is that CJP seems to be a bit too inclined to issue verdicts in favour of those who oppose Gen. Musharraf. This attitude influences verdicts from other justices, as in this case.

Lets give credit where due ... I give positive credit to the CJP for having visited the jails and issuinga judicial policy and I give negative credt to CJP for creating JNAB and allowing such verdicts ... as a Pakistani my humble request to the CJP is to consider the state of our country while giving decissions.

Pakistan's constitution allows law enforcement agencies to hold people in custody if they are threat to the National Security ... My hope is that CJP will take suo motto action against such decissions and reverse them for the sake of our country.

This just proves that Musharraf's action on Lal Masjid was correct ... I hope that Sheikh Rasheed can drive this point to his voters in NA-55!

No maulvi can give fatwa against the Shariat either ... it is the interpretation of Shariat and in this case the interpretation of law by the respective judge.

We are at war with internal and external enemies ... I see these young officers and jawans fighting for our very survival and then I see people like Abdul Aziz who support Talibans.

Lt. Col. Haroon ul-Islam and many others embraced shahadat in Lal Masjid operation and it just shatters my heart to see their sacrifices go in vain.
