and didnt we plan to use geF1XX engine on TFX prototypes`or was it just wishfull thinking by us on pdf??

There are some rumors on Hürjets' engine, I am not sure which engine will be used on it.

We are going to use F110 on TFX prototypes, at least all information point this engine for now.

• Unmanned jet fighters (2023)

• Heavily upgraded F-16s with Turkish solutions, (AESA-2022)

• TF-X to be built block by block. First prototype is in 2023 !

There are no written rules but from the general knowledge , i know;
- Super-cruise
- Stealth design
- Internal Weapons Bay

It appears that hurjet will be similar to JF17 after all. I remember several Turkish members making critical remarks about JF17 when someone suggested you buy the plane. Importance it seems doesn't lie with the plane itself but the ability to integrate your own weapons and hardware onto a platform and possessing the source codes. But it will take a while to make it a mature proven platform unless it is planned mainly to be used as a technology demonstrator for the TFX.

Not a single Turk Would not reject that JF17 is perfect for Pakistan’s doctorine. But for us, we don’t want to buy any jet anymore. F35 was an exception that proves great benefits to Turkish Industry (we still produce parts for it) but be it JF17 or another jet, we want to use only Turkish.

Agree. First planes will likely use GE-F110 engine. Thats I think why it will be 4++

In this case, why first batch of TFX will classify as 4++, even they have all this specifcation. Maybe mission computer or radar related.
