Terminal 2 in Dubai Airport? Anyone experience?

At 11th september i fly with my girl to Australia for 25 days. We fly from Rome via Dubai and have 2.5h stay in Dubai airport. I saw we land at Terminal 2 and will also take off from terminal 2. Not that much time but anything good we can do there? Whats ebst restaurant?

How can we pay there? Mastercard ok?

It's got plenty of shops and stuff, you should be able to spend 2 hours easy. As for restaurants, there is the usual bunch of fast food stuff as well as a couple of high end restaurants. They accept all major credit cards as far as I remember.

Consider that you have to reach on your boarding gate 45 mins before departing time. So, you don't have that much time ...

I saw our ticket has some service called "Marhabas". That means when we leave one aircraft, there is someone who picks us up and brings us to the other gate.

It's got all the mod cons you want, and there are plenty of shopping places. However there isn't much to do and if you are doing a transfer it is very badly laid out. I remember transferring to go to Singapore last year and it was hell, take this bus, this train, this elevator etc.

Go Marhaba lounge, variety of food and other amenities. Also it's fairly quite in there.

Yeah, we propably just go to our gate and then see whats nearby. I hope some shops are open tgen. We land 23 o clock and take off 02 am

Time goes quickly my friend. I was there last year and we had 3 hours and the time just shot by, we barely made it around some of the shops. Be vigilant regarding the status of your flight to Aussie land.
To be honest there's nothing you can't get in Italy. Women love walking around for the sake of it lol.

I know...had 2h wait in Madrid last year at night when we transferred to our flight to peru. I was tired as **** but she kept walking around. I was thirsty, all shops closed and i had only one coin. Put it in vending machine and pressed wrong button...got salt bretzels...arghhhhh

it is the smallest terminal among all and mostly used for budget airlines yet you have enough of things to entertain your self .. this video could give you a slight info about it ...
