'Teen Bahdur' gives Pakistan's children superheroes they can relate to

Pakistan's first animated feature film is being released in cinemas in Pakistan on Friday 22nd May. 'Teen Bahdur' - meaning "three brave" - is a story of three children who acquire super powers to save their town from the evils that plague it.

The film is directed and produced by Pakistan's Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker, Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy. She spoke to the BBC's Shahzeb Jillani in Karachi and told him about why Pakistan needs to have its own superheroes.

BFS with Khalid aired an hour on the film in the morning, and I can assure Teen Bahadur is a better message for our kids than the ones we're already giving them.
