Sabzar Ahmad and Junaid Mattoo are not the big names in the valley...as of now the biggest following is enjoyed among separatists is Zakir Musa after Burhan Wani's death...Some say his following is more than Burhan Wani. So when Zakir Musa is killed, then they may release a film on his name.

Back in the days when had PTV only, we would have lots of serials based on Kashmir's freedom struggle coming. Its different now with all the private channels. You cannot expect GEO to do anything that goes against India but others are the same as well. Even PTV being in shadows now is not that active.
Miss those days
Yes those programs should come back. In fact, with our film industry doing better, i would love some films on this issue too.

Exactly. Every Pakistani should be aware of current situation in Kashmir because it is our national interest and Kashmiris are a part of our soul, by using media we can even raise voice for Kashmiri freedom.

It is sad that we are being made to forget about our brothers in Kashmir. The media, our news and entertainment channels do not talk about Kashmir that much and it is all being done based on a plan. Need to challenge that and spread awareness about Kashmir struggle. I hope once this pro India gov. is out things will improve.

That is what Indian wants they want to divert our attention towards other issues such as Baloch insurgency and terrorist activities so that we will forget about Kashmir and get involved in our internal issues. We are the generation born in 1990s and grew up listening freedom struggle in KaShmir and sacrifices of our brothers across valley that is why have some how attractions towards them. Sadly current situation is completely opposite once Kashmir struggle and Pakistan cricket/hockey were on peak but know both are facing downfall. My salute to Burhan Wani and his handful comrades who are still active and fighting for their right if self determination.
Still three brothers from Burhan's famous group photo are active and giving toh time to occupied forces. May Allah give them strength and courage for their cause.
