My party wanted to introduce Wealth tax again. That was on our Agenda in the first few weeks. Ishaq Dar said that in a speech too. And my party also managed 13.8 tax to GDP ratio. HIGHEST ever in history of Pakistan. I believe when in govt even with same members ( few of them are CHORS ) this situation will improve

I am actually surprised to see that they get away not paying their taxes. My retired mom actually pays more than your parliamentarians and would come second on the list. Mind you she considers herself middle class.

paying tax as senators/parliamentarians but not as who they are, besides most didnt bother filing it anyway which itself is negligence !!
