What is the basis of their claim? and Why a terrorist organization is being believed here?.

Pakis believe LTTE that India attacked Sri Lankan Cricket team... but they don't believe when L-eT "admits" that they were the ones who plotted/carried out attacks on Mumbai. Their government first points to Bangladesh? then says Indian officials did it. ??? Well they're still "investigating"* <-- eating halal and writing poems, and waiting for ISI to do their magic once again.

Read the DAWN web, its got the main headlines which say 'Clues lead to Let and not India, the investigator havnt recieved any clue that leads to India.'

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister's Adviser on Interior Rehman Malik on Thursday said that leads suggested that the banned outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Lakhvi had no links with the attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore.

'However, the involvement of foreign hands in the incident cannot be ruled out,' he told APP while talking to journalists at Parliament House.

Malik reiterated that the perpetrators of the incident would soon be brought to justice. He said the investigation report would be completed within 24 hours and added that the probe was heading in the right direction.

Referring to the Mumbai terror attack, the adviser said Pakistan had conveyed 30 questions to the Indian authorities but they were yet to respond.

He urged India to share answers of the questions at the earliest so that the perpetrators could be given exemplary punishment.

“One should condemn the many TV spotlights attempting to demonise Pakistan.

Sri Lanka too was at one time a victim of this ostracisation by countries, which affected our economy and damaged its good name,” said an edit in the state-owned Daily News, Sri Lanka’s largest selling English language daily, on Thursday.

Though no particular country or region was mentioned by the Sri Lankan papers, it was clear that the reference was to India, and to some extent the West, which slammed Pakistan for turning a blind eye to the scourge of terrorism and nuturing it for use against its neighbours.

Independent English language daily The Island said, the best Sri Lankans could do for a friendly but struggling country like Pakistan was to “avoid an adverse propaganda war.” Defending the Sri Lankan government’s decision to send the team to Pakistan when other countries like Australia and India had withdrawn, The Island said that Sri Lanka too had been boycotted earlier due to the war against Tamil Tiger terrorism. But Sri Lanka had gone ahead and organised several international events.

“So it was Sri Lanka’s turn to stand by her all-weather friend, Pakistan, when she was invited to play cricket on the latter’s soil. And she did.Unfortunately, the least expected happened and now everybody is wise after the event,” The Island noted.

Its political commentator said that India was the only gainer in this outrage, as it could strain relations between Sri Lanka and its arch rival Pakistan.

India had always striven to wean Sri Lanka away from Pakistan and China, and of late, New Delhi had been giving military assistance to Sri Lanka towards this objective, the commentator said.

He recalled that there had been an attempt on the life of the Pakistani envoy in Sri Lanka, Bashir Wali Mohmand, because he was thought to be a firm supporter of Pakistan-Sri Lanka military relations having been an ISI officer himself.

The LTTE was immediately blamed for the botched attempt.

But later, on return to Pakistan, the envoy said that India’s RAW had engineered the attack.

Okay, first of all i can't believe ANYONE with sense is looking at PAKISTANI news papers. Dawn, GTv what EVER!

Because as you all realise, in THIS thread itself; each pakistani paper says a different story. (based on what everyone posted) Who should we believe? Let's leave it to "foreign news papers" Please try to find sources that are neutral in this situation.

Ones not from India, Pakistan or any other affiliates --- how about Sri Lankan paper?

Pakistan right now... their media, government, people don't know what they're talking about. They should realise that each news paper having their own "made up" news is only ruining their reputation. One says LTTE did it, another says L-eT but 10 minutes later, they say reports show that India did it! ETC. and all of them quote government officials. We don't know if it's TRUE or they're writing for fun? But I wonder why the public's still trusting them .

Maybe because this report actually quotes a Pakistani government official. Also other news sources quoted Pakistani government officials saying foreign involvement has not been ruled out. You can see my previous posts in this very thread.

I always look at more than one Pakistani news sorce and I never read Indian news sources when it comes to Pakistan.

It could be RAW or LTTE. Every pakistani has right to suspect! But if pakistan donest punish the real criminals who ever it may be from rootlevel its a biggest mistake and has to pay price for it.

Should we look at India's newspapers instead?
You do know that your media was a bollywood filled melo-dramatic presentation and it was hilarious for us Pakistanis to look at it.
No paper has actual information untill the investigation has been completed, so far we can only guess.

With "they", I assume you meant us Pakistanis.
Now, can I ask you, who pointed fingers at Pakistan right from the start during Mumbai when the terrorists hadn't even finished their attack in Mumbai?!
Do not make hypocritical statements, we don't love to accuse, we're keeping all options open, unlike you Indians, we do not emotionally cry and point fingers completely at India and our media is not waging a war against your nation unlike your bollywood media which has done so.
So far we are looking at things from a neutral view, it could be Islamic extremists operating from inside Pakistan, it could be a bunch of losers funded and equipped by RAW, it could be LET, it could be anyone or anything that wishes to destabalize Pakistan.
The people who did this knew very well the consequenses for Pakistan at the international (cricket) and world stage.
Like you said, some of us are "suspecting" India's role in this, but can you blame them? Can you blame alot of Pakistanis for that, especially when RAW agents are captured on a daily basis in Lahore?
