Exactly. It's a wild guess, but since local Talib commanders of these border regions have demonstrated to be sympathetic, and accomodating of TTP, so may be Kabuli Talibs are 'cleaning house' to get rid of spoilers that are spoiling relations with Islamabad....

Was he a member of the good Taliban (Afghan Taliban) or the bad Taliban (TTP)? If the former, Pakistanis should be mourning his assassination, not celebrating it.
