Tale of a late Muslim Pakistani American F-15 Pilot

Dude seriously your mindset on this matter is seriously disturbed & troublesome

worship GOD dont try to act GOD by judging people & throwing them to hell all by yourself amazing ain't it :police:

I do worship God but will judge people according to the criterion that God has given me i.e the Quran. Pay attention to what Abu Zolfiqar is saying. Also the Prophet saw has strictly forbidden Muslims to draw swords against each other... do you really think that someone who kills a Muslim because his non Muslim master ordered him to do so will please God?

So in other words if a non muslim judge orders a muslim police man to arrest a muslim involved in brutally beating his wife he should refuse to do so??

Bhai jan.. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO PRINT CERTIFICATES AND DISTRIBUTE THEM PUBLICALLY ON WHO IS A GOOD MUSLIM OR NOT...Unless you are inspired by the swat taliban..who coincidentally started out in the exact same pattern of ideas that you display now.
You feel somebody's doing a wrong thing.. tell him once.. and back off..
If his mind was made up.. its god who will judge him and all of us who was pious..who was misled..who did what in his life..and right now.. this man needed to be honored...and he should be by his countrymen..he died in the line of duty for the United States of America..and THAT is THAT..this is his honor.. this is his remembrance.
There are many instances where Muslim members of America's armed forces refused to fight since they too felt that fellow muslims were being targeted..
It's niyat that matters.. all will be judged on that basis too..

One of your own posts highlighted how a man confessed about committing adultery to the prophet and the prophet kept ignoring him..as if not to discuss that matter...does it not also highlight that the prophet wished to differ the matter to god instead of passing judgment right there and then as he felt correct.

You spoke to that soldier.. expressed your reservation.. I commend you.. if it convinced him for the betterment of everyone.. excellent..if not.. let it be..
You unto your belief...and let Lt jivanee and all others like him keep theirs.

Of course yaar. What do you think... I ll deliver swift justice or something?? It does nt work like that my friend... If someone is doing something wrong (depending on the wrong also) then I will do just like you said... tell him not to do it and leave his matter to God... it will be different if I were in authority and ruling... Because then I have the responsibility of protecting my citizens... Even then as the good man I am I will warn the person that I know his actions and he should correct himself... and if he persists and gets caught again apply punishment on him...

Seriously this idea that we should leave everything to the judgement of God is destroying us... Dont you think the Dakoo and Qatil should be punished?

and your comment about Taliban is in bad taste... You know me well enough by now me thinks...

Sure the thief and the murderer should be punished..
but if the murderer is a Muslim.. and confesses to killing the man seeing him burn a copy of the quran.. would you not punish him???
If a Muslim has fought for the king of abysinnia in some conflict..would the prophet punish him?
I would definitely admonish a muslim who fights for Israel and shoots Palestinians.. but then..the same should be said of the rulers of Mecca back then..if any Muslim fought for them.. it would be the same .. But you cannot paint it all black and white.. and dump them into one box..
I knew a certain lt Saad in the marines.. he did a tour stationed on a navy ship of the balkan region back in 99.. was he wrong?..while he spent most of his time on board.. some of his senior officers had performed CAP's back in 93 over the same reigon during the Bosnian genocide..and prevented serbian jets from hitting targets.. he told me that quite a few of those officers were his inspiration for helping fellow Muslims(kosovars)..albeit on the ground.
Was he wrong??

Israel as a state policy has fought and attacked only Muslim nations, not once has it come to the aid of Muslims..Very rarely do I ever hear of Muslims in Israel...doing well...and being happy..
The same is not true for America..
Also.. this man died not just for America.. he died protecting his family as well.. he died with an oath to protect his parents, siblings and millions of other Muslims living in America..along with every other American...in my view..he died in the line of duty..and as a martyr.

And I do know u a little now.. which is exactly why I made that comment..since that is what you were coming out as from ur posts.
And by all accounts and experiences.. on a macroscopic scale.. there is more justice in the west compared to any Muslim country..

'Above all else, an American'[F-15 pilot 1st Lt. Ali M. Jivanjee][FL]

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE

Laughter filled the 33rd Fighter Wing hangar Wednesday afternoon during a memorial ceremony for F-15 pilot 1st Lt. Ali M. Jivanjee.

Jivanjee, 26, died Feb. 20 in a midair collision with another 58th Fighter Squadron warplane. The accident is under investigation. “When I look at Ali, I see a very complex man,” said squadron commander Lt. Col. Todd Jaax.

He described Jivanjee as a top-notch fighter pilot, a stellar officer, a terrific son and husband, as well as a devout Muslim who played a merciless game of poker. Jaax also suspected Jivanjee’s preference for frugal dates turned out to be a good way of determining who the young fighter pilot would marry.

While the UCLA graduate made dates pay for meals by feigning he had forgotten his wallet, Jivanjee had no trouble picking up the tab for a grilled cheese sandwich when it came to one special person. “Sara, (he knew) you must have been the one,” said Jaax, looking at Jivanjee’s widow. She was at the ceremony with Jivanjee’s mother and father and other family members.

Other humorous episodes in Jivanjee’s life were recounted. While working to get his fighter wings, Jivanjee would sign e-mails “Jihad,” which many interpret as Arabic for “holy war,” to make sure Air Force security people were kept busy, said Jaax.

Although Jivanjee had a playful side, he took flying seriously. His posthumous Air Force Commendation Medal citation noted this pilot had hundreds of Red Flag air-to-air kills. “Above all else,” Jaax added, “Ali was an American.” The hangar ceremony included an outdoor gun salute. Four fighter wing F-15s flew a missing-man formation to conclude the event.

Many people left with tears in their eyes. Jaax held back a few shortly before concluding his remarks.
During the memorial, Jivanjee had an F-15 with tail number 82-043 named in his honor. The Eagle’s nose art was a circular American flag emblem with “Spirit of 9-11” written in script above and the phrase “Let’s Roll” in block lettering below.

Jivanjee’s death touched the entire fighter wing, but it was felt most by his squadron. Capt. Mike Reilly said he and Jivanjee were wingmen. They never flew against each other in training, but Reilly praised his comrade. He described Jivanjee as “precise” and “studious.”“We’re all very tight. It’s like one big family,” said Reilly. “This was not just one guy being assigned to the squadron. He really was like a brother.”

Very sad story may ALLAH bless his soul and give his family the courge to be strong. A great fighter pilot and great Pakistani American we salute you :pakistan::usflag:

Shame that he did not contribute any of his experiences back to his home country. I would not honour him any awards for being an ex-Pakistani!

American flag for the heros and Pakistan flag for the terrorist..American policy of duplicity!

One the day of judgement he will be raised and judged with the Kuffars because he invested his precious life into supporting them and advancing their ambitions!

Care to elaborate ? What ambitions of Kuffars did he advance ? Muslim are an integral part of US society ... What makes you think that they shouldn't work for the US Govt or such ? Many helped the victims of 9/11 even ... What does being a muslim has to do with Nationality ? and how exactly can we judge a person , isn't it God's thing ?

Fla. — Lt. Ali Jivanjee performed a unique balancing act as an American Air Force fighter jet pilot and a devout Muslim.
His casket, draped in an American flag, and carried by men in traditional Pakistani clothes somberly captured that for mourners during his traditional Muslim burial last week.
Did you read this line ? or do muslims now think they can judge people better than God ? This was seriously disturbing post by you :disagree:

well, some could make the ''case'' that he took orders from uncle Sam instead of taking orders from God but that's a bit simplistic. . .

he proved that Muslims are also loyal Americans, at a time when propaganda artists (Bill o Reilly and Daniel Pipes type) portray all Muslims as jihadi sympathisers who ''use and abuse'' America

and in all honesty, as an American citizen you could argue that he was merely fulfilling his duties and following orders....there is no information that he was even a part of the Iraq or Afghan campaigns.

so let him rest in peace; let's not make a mockery of his background or profession. We all believe in a judgement day, God/Allah/Lord being a witness.

in my mind -- a Pakistani or second generation Pakistani who is recognized for his feats or distinguishments should be appreciated; he acted as a diplomat of sorts for his country of origin and for the country which bore and raised him. Let's appreciate that ---we all should. Even those who want to smear him.

Some of the comments in this thread are really disturbing.

Pakistanis here regularly praise Christian pilots and soldiers within their armed forces. Here we have a Muslim in the USAF. Is there a huge difference?

America is composed of citizens native born, and citizens from overseas, but when they become citizens, their allegiance is to the USA. Their religion is pretty much irrelevent; we don't care if they are Muslim, Christian, or totally atheist.

The Should do what Mohammad Ali did .. Refuse to fight un just war.

So in other words.. Muslims should have nothing to do with America..
considering many Muslims became multi millionaires who were paupers in their own country..others became famous for their work in research.
Yet.. these weigh nothing and Muslims should prepare for what.. hijrat from America?
Muslims are part of America.. as are Christians,Hindus,Buddhists and Jews..
Being a Muslim has NOTHING to do with nationality.
If anything.. Muslims should never be identified with people like the taliban and Al-qaeda..
