Tale of a Brave IAF Pilot.

He is an excellent writer and tells it as it is. Besides being an excellent writer, he was a very good fighter and instructor pilot as well.

Moreover he is a great human being a great person a dedicated Muslim and a true blooded patriot.

He has accheived a lot in his life and is quite optimistic.:pakistan:

This is a beautiful 3D animated reconstruction of one of the Indian Air Force's most unforgettable dogfights -- in which Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon valiantly defended the Srinagar air force base with a Folland Gnat against marauding Pakistani F-86 Sabres on December 14, 1971, exactly 41 years ago. A fitting tribute. Big kudos to Anurag for this, and here's hoping there's more soon.

Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, PVC (17 July 1943 - 14 December 1971) was an officer of the Indian Air Force. He was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra, India's highest military decoration, in recognition of his lone defence of Srinagar Air Base against a Pakistani air raid during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. He is the only member of the Indian Air Force to be so honored.[1]

EFF yeah! There needs to be more like this vid! You must never forget such sacrifices and acts of unbelievable bravery. RIP Sir.

Dam couldn't watch the full video. It's stuck. Trying you tube. Nice video OP

Yes, one pilot in that Sabre formation is our forum member, and will be able to separate fact from fiction, i don't think however he would be commenting here.

That would be better too. But can you tell us what is the fiction here ??? You seem convinced over it. So you too can explain and enlighten us.

Can Pakistani watch this vid? Isn't YT still blocked in Pakistan?
