Leading Republican presidential aspirant Donald Trump has pitched a new strategy on how to best combat the Islamic State -- kill their families.
"When you get these terrorists, you have to take out their families. They care about their lives, don't kid yourself," Trump told Fox News.
"We are fighting a very politically correct war," said the Republican presidential front-runner.
Trump pointed to the fact that ISIS terrorists have used civilians as "shields" for his reasoning.
Calling the ISIS US' "number one threat", Trump joined the growing criticism of President Barack Obama for appearing to send the wrong message to Americans on ISIS.
"All he's worried about is climate change. He thinks climate change is something that's going to go kill us," the real estate mogul said, adding that, "it's not going to kill us at all."
Trump also said that if he would have been the US President he would not have gone to this week's Paris climate change conference at all.
"I would have maybe sent a vice president. But that might be too high a position," he said.
Trump is known for making controversial comments and has made quite a few assertions during his campaign that have attracted criticism.
Trump had last month claimed he saw Muslims cheering in New Jersey after the September 11, 2001 attacks. The claim was disputed by many.
