The Pakistan Aeronautical Complex has signed a work share agreement with Turkish Aerospace Industries, paving the way for any future Pakistani purchase of the T-129 attack helicopter.


‘TAI has contracted us to build frames for their Anka UAV, while we are also looking forward to collaborating with them ...

Mate, it is wonderful to see our defence industries cooperating but personally, i don't think Pakistan will go for our choppers as long as the US engine issue continues.

On a short note, due to FD-2000 chinese missiles which we plan to buy. We are not in best terms with US.

Only engines are the problems... otherwise i dont see any hurdles in this deal, with nawaz shareef and ordagan in power.
 
Yeah the issue is the engines. Otherwise it will be a great deal for both the countries.
 
Engine issue can be settled,If america is willing to offer more Super cobra to Pakistan than certainly letting Turkey for the export of T-129 with aamerican engine wont be a problem

Not a good idea to operate both systems simultaneously due to shortage of funds and high opeational and maintainance costs.
