Swvl Launched in Lahore

If you’re not a fan of sweating your pores out in public transportation or emptying your wallet trying to avoid it, then you probably know that Swvl is the right service for you. Swvl is expanding its coverage fast and now, you can benefit from their affordable, reliable, comfortable and air-conditioned rides in Lahore, Pakistan.

Bus-hailing App is offering the following initial routes in Lahore and opening new routes every day:

  • Askari 11 – Mall Road
  • Bahria Town – Askari 11
  • Valencia – DHA Phase 6
Launched in April 2017, company aims to revolutionize and disrupt the mass transportation scene by substituting public transportation with an affordable, smart, technology-based alternative to commuting through congested, emerging markets.

Since the news came to the fore, there’ve been several Swvl buses on the road with the local community eager to use the platform to commute at a price-point that is significantly lower than other comparable options in the market. In fact, Swvl has also introduced a welcome promo-code “Aojee” to give its customers unlimited free rides!

To book Swvl, all you need to do is download the Bus-hailing App from Google Play or Apple Store and get a ride with a few taps of the button. At first glance, you’ll find a “Where to” option, where you input your preferred destination which prompts you to select your preferred time (from the available list) and confirm your booking.

The way everyone perceives public transportation has changed ever since Swvl launched two years ago. For the tech-savvy and financially prudent commuter, this Bus-hailing offers the perfect option to commute with convenience at an amazing price.

Using it since 19th sep in ISB. They started with around 7 routes. Now they have around 52 routes now to cover wah,ISB and RWP with multiple stops.

I have used my car like 4 times during that time. My car is getting old and needs maintenance which was getting out of hand now. New cars are getting expensive too.

This service is a blessing for me now. Decent ride. However, they need to increase the number of vehicles on some routes and reduce the same on others with low volume.

They are offering discounts and capturing market from other transporters and careem/uber.

I hope they and airlift succeed so that I can park my car for good and save up some money.

I mean why should I use my car for a 50 KM round trip when I am the only person in a four seater car.
