It is quite possible it is an internal RAW sting operation. The 'Pakistani handlers' on the other side could have been RAW agents. The modus operandi of offering high paying jobs seems similar to Col. Habib's case.

If true, it gives us some insight into RAW capabilities. Namely, they have the technological prowess to compromise computers by getting you to download a trojan horse. They have the capability to monitor and scan electronic devices, hard disks etc. ISI should take note. @balixd
